No doubt! Helping others is a good thing but @MCR no advance payment, you'll likely regret it. Pay as you go, hire him more often if you want to help him, also tell him to seek help from local institutions, etc. At least he's escorting and on the right path to make money, get a place, etc.

How do you know that's true? Be cautious. Do you want to help him? Hire him again, recommend him, give him some food, teach him to save money, slowly he'll lift himself out of trouble as long as he doesn't fall into PNP like some unfortunately do. Is he local?
