Right now I’m mostly interested in hearing about experiences with Kenneth, Parker, or James. A couple of people DM’d me and shared that Matthew might not be the best fit for what I’m looking for. They mentioned his sessions tend to focus less on massage and more on other things, and that the session can end pretty quickly afterward with a higher expected tip. Just sharing what I heard.I’d still love to hear any experiences with the others.

I assume a generous tip helps these young men a lot.
I agree with the response above for guidance.  Perhaps look at the going rates on Rentmasseur for more ideas how to level up the amount.
I don't know how much the spa takes, but I keep in mind they do get a portion.

I wanted to update on my thoughts about Nathan.
In my opinion, the best out of all the guys I tried at Thai Wellness! Very professional and provides an excellent massage that really hit the spot! I'll definitely be going back to him.

I’m thinking about booking a massage here. Has anyone had experience with Kenneth, Parker, Matthew, or James? What are their strengths? If they offer anything special, feel free to DM me. Would love to hear your thoughts.

I made a reservation with Nathan, looking forward to it.
So far I've tried, Joe, Andre, Billy, Teddy, Kenneth, and Patrick.
They're all fine but I didn't like how one of them sent a pretty aggressive text message saying I didn't tip him well enough. I don't mind paying but I would have appreciated being up front about the value he thinks he offered instead of not communicating, being angry after the fact, and then sending a rude, aggressive text message. I'm not exactly sure what sort of thought process he had, but the fact he did that tells me he doesn't know the concept of creating good will. Some people do not know how to communicate.

Just my opinion on tipping , I don’t really think percentage tipping makes as much sense at a spa as it does at restaurants. Massage therapists are licensed professionals who go through serious training (anatomy, body mechanics, techniques, etc.). That’s why I usually tip 50%+ for a great session. Some of my friends tip even more, especially when requesting extra services.

Assuming that it’s as wonderful a session as 90% of them are, I will at least give double the spa rate in total, if not more. 90 minutes, $200-225. When you consider the spa takes a cut, they’re still getting less than their RM equivalents.
Plus if you’re generous, they remember it the next time too!
If it’s just a decent massage but nothing that memorable, like at most other spas, then because their rate is so low I’ll still give $50 at least in tip. If the rate were higher, I’d probably give 20%.
