Masseur in his late-40s or 50s in NYC?
+ bencleve29 replied to NYCguy10011's topic in Spas & Masseurs
Sean/Michael for sure. -
These guys are the real deal. Excellent!

I think it was $90 for the year and there are lower priced options for shorter durations.

For me, I have had a number of positive experiences with rentmasseur. A couple not so great, but in my experience that ratio is not that different than with masseurfinder or massagem4m. It does help to cross reference all three sites (or at least masseurfinder and rentmasseur), for the same ads, as you can still see a greater variety of pictures often on rentmasseur especially if you have a premium membership. I also find the classifications of type of massage as helpful, and they are also used in the reviews along with price paid. It also depends on the city you are in, and I travel frequently. It was very good in London, as an example. As always you still need to do your homework, and I will always cross reference any of the three sites with the forum.

Anyone having problems with Massuerfinder today?
+ bencleve29 replied to MRJJ's topic in Spas & Masseurs
My theory on the disappearing shirtlesss pics is in the post on this thread: https://www.companyofmen.org/threads/masseurfinder-heal-vs-relax.134929/ -
Earlier today I clicked on my account and a letter from masseurfinder came up - I can't get it to come up again - but it covered two topics: the consolidation of the heal and relax - basically saying it was confusing to have two sections and that new people when coming to the site for the first time would get confused by the choice and instead of clicking on one or the other would opt out and leave the site. Of course, mf created this poor distinction when they moved away from sensual and therapeutic designations. The other comment was around a change in the picture policy - which I could not access to actually read the policy despite a link. I think they are now going beyond putting a question mark on those masseurs' pictures on the city search pages to actually deleting all photos for a masseur unless they have a face pic. I also think they may be doing away with all shirtless photos. If you click on some of the profiles even though the pic on the city page is shirtless, on the actual masseur page they are gone. All more reasons to move to rentmasseur in the absence of a better option.

I am a fan of Billy in Charlotte on mf.

I've seen him for massage a couple months ago. Very good. He is definitely gay and has a bf but still doing escort and massage.
-
I agree with @Kody S - it really depends where you live and whether you have done your homework. There is a shortage of great masseurs in Boston so we definitely benefit from some of the regular travelers who visit like Rob, Brad, Ethan etc from NY. Euro Adam, Taylor and of course Rainer and Ryan West. The forum is an absolute must for vetting the visitors as many are the kind of crappy, untrained “finish yourself” guys none of us want to see but there are the regular visitors and once in awhile the “masseur on vacation” or en route to Ptown that is worth seeing.
-
I don't know this for sure but my theory is that mf gave the masseurs an ultimatum to update new photos or photos newer than some date within the last couple years or so or else they get the question mark on the city pages. I say this because you can still see the pics if you click on the ads and at least anecdotally, many of these masseurs' pics are old or have been the same for years.

I have seen him many times. Super nice guy with none of the hang ups of some of the other eastern europeans. This thread referred to same Sergey when he was traveling to Philly. https://www.companyofmen.org/threads/philly-visitors-fabian-sergey-fabio.113084/#post-1433327

Michael - everything is amazing - including the massage! https://www.masseurfinder.com/members/michaelnewyork.shtml -
Drew is Dr. Eric https://www.companyofmen.org/threads/has-anyone-experienced-dr-eric-visiting-from-dallas.125413/

That is his standard massage listing for CL but agree it leaves the door open for more.
-
I agree about Chris being outstanding at therapeutic but I think there are a few exceptions and there were a couple past suggestions of the same vein in some old threads as well. I think being younger increases your odds. https://www.companyofmen.org/threads/needed-nyc-first-timer-advice.113015/page-2

It’s only live when he is working and available.

I saw him when he was in Boston in December. He is still massaging but only when traveling. I think when he is home in FL he is not doing massage.

https://www.companyofmen.org/threads/a-new-nyc-alex.132514/#post-1441138 Looks like no personal experience based on the thread above but perhaps someone will share some info.

You will likely get more helpful feedback if you post the links of the guys you are interested in.

I saw him about 4-5 years ago. Some of the pics are definitely older. Nice guy. Still in very good shape. Table set up. Above average massage. Standard ending. Have not repeated.
