To clarify, the item in question was a Van Cleef & Arpels Alhambra bracelet. I’ve never had a reason to post on this site before, so I signed up solely to share what happened and hopefully prevent someone else from having the same experience. I’m not trying to interfere with this guy’s business. I can see he has plenty of good reviews, and this may well be a one-off situation. But it did happen, and I’ll admit part of it was my mistake for leaving something valuable out. The positive feedback here probably made me let my guard down a bit, which is why I thought it was worth mentioning. -

Beware!! I was a few minutes late letting him in to my place. Session was fine, used one of the “machine guns” on me. While I stepped into the bathroom, he took my VCA on the desk.
