You pay for access to a provider, and if they have status, looks, personality and great reviews the price will naturally be more.

300 was the norm about 12 years ago. Adjusted with inflation 400 today is the equivalent of 300 back then. While I have had some not so great experiences with guys who have charged 400 or 500, most of the mediocre sessions I've had were at the 250-300 rate. Higher end guys are usually better providers.
