  9. I remember asking David Leavitt a question at s q and a. A nasty question, not sure why. Something like don't true so hard to be cool. Or as Eric would say, "but you can't f**k me, ok?"
  10. Eric the UCLA students who needs a very good grade on a term paper is an interesting character. Eric to the term paper guy: "You are gay and I'm sexy, so why not?"
  11. Jerry Herman was a contestant on "What's My Line" after "Hello, Dolly" opened in New York. He signed in as Mr. x. The panel narrowed his line to music composer. But, didn't recognize him until John Daly mentioned he was composer & lyrist for Dolly. Arlene Francis: I read for Dolly; angry at myself for not recognizing Jerry. I didn't remember how good looking Mr. Herman was. Episode is available on YouTube.
  12. There were several models in my classes at a liberal arts college near Boston. Totally agree that models are not always sexy, but I remember a model who lived with his parents in Brookline. As a freshman, he had a good sense of human and was quite socially adept. Not enough to call a friend though. That was a way back in 1962, @tassojunior
