I just finished watching the movie. if you liked it, you are going to love the TV series. They expanded the same plot, with plenty of time to develop the diversity of Black politics in campus and the complexities and contradictions of the characters. I did not say that Black escorts have criminal records. You did quote what I did say, thank you for that. I think you do have a point in your closing paragraph. My racist bias would be that I am assuming that young black urban boys coming from a poverty background are more likely to have criminal records than young white urban boys coming from poverty. Touché.

At this point I am wondering whether it is my poor writing skills or your poor reading skills.
