It is amazing how the smartest and coolest people make the most silly arguments to declare themselves free of racism. We all have racist thoughs and behaviors. How could we not when we are shaped by mainstream ideology? I have no doubt that my preference for Blacks and Latinos has a racist component. It does not make me racist, though. If you cannot accept that you have a big deal of racism and mysoginy and homophobia in everything you are and you think and you feel, you are part of the problem.
