I LOVE J-Lo, but after all the hype, anticipation and expectation I WAS DISAPPOIUNTED by the show she and Shakira gave us. While I didn't watch the game, I watched the clock closely for the 1/2 time start, but was left cold.... J-Lo gave us typical J-lo, which we have seen a million times, she added a brief sprinkle of her pole dancing skills that she learned for her recent movie Hustlers, but it seemed out of place and didn't elevate the overall show. I only know one Shakira song, don't really pay her much attention, and she gave us typical Shakira, her belly dance schtick, and her ONE famous song, "Hips don't Lie".....She was a throw-away and not needed. I THOUGHT Super bowl performers are supposed to give us over the top spectacle, like BEYONCE and Diana Ross did ? YES str8 dudes probably LOVED it, but for ME, Jenny from the Block didn't deliver and needs to take the 6-train back to the Bronx.....
