As some may know, I have been absent from the site for nearly 2 years, during which time I had health issues with my back similar to those of Funguy and LIguy. Combined with the need for a hip replacement, I was in excruciating pain, unable to walk and in a wheelchair for over 1 year... Nothing worked to relieve the pain, meds, epidurals etc... and the sciatica was killer... I wanted to DIE.... I had always been an independent person and here I was unable to do anything for myself. I couldn't reach my feet to put on socks/shoes, I couldn't lift my legs to get in the shower , I couldn't prepare a meal.... for me it was a living Death. This past Feb 15th, I had my spinal surgery, which turned into an 8 hr procedure due to complications of fluid sacs bursting, BUT in the end, after my stint in rehab and weeks of home PT, I have no back or sciatic pain any longer On March 30th, 6 weeks after my back surgery, I had my hip replacement... I was transported to the hospital on a stretcher and in excruciating pain, like a knife going thru my groin with any movement.... As of this writing, I CAN WALK again and have no pain, take no pain med, and can sleep at night.... It's like a miracle.... So for those of you still suffering, and feeling there is NO light at the end of the tunnel... THERE IS... You just have to hang in there and rely on doctors THAT YOU TRUST.... It underwent a facelift and for summer is open Tues, Fri thru Sun, often with parties thrown by several popular. promoters. They are anticipating a big weekend with a lot of out-of-towners attending.... For anywhere from $17-22, you can play with as many guys as you can snag. There is a cornucopia of "types" so there is something for everyone..... nude or underwear. So if you are so inclined not to spend your $300 for a single hr.... drop by and check it out.....

My only hesitation about attending is that THE RULES SAY TOTAL NUDITY.... I've had 2 very recent surgeries in Feb and March and am insecure about the "scarring" which is still healing. I would prefer wearing a pair of briefs or a full cut jock, but it doesn't seem allowed. . You know how gays can be with "imperfection "?

Per an email just received from the party promoter of The Milk Chocolate parties, RAINBOW HOUSE will REOPEN Fri 6/14.... It doesn't say if the reopening is permanent or just a one-shot deal for Pride month ? But I'll take it !

That email was from Cade, the promoter of the Latin Leche partys… If they were forced to close by the landlord, then it is doubtful it will reopen in that location.

It's come to my attention that The Rainbow House, a male PLAYground in Long Is City NY has closed. This was my favorite go-to gay play venue for no-nonsense action.... No info was given for the closure or if they are going to re-open somewhere else. Anyone have any info on this ?
