I would never pay a deposit for a 1 hour booking. In my opinion, it's bad form for a 1 hour booking. An escort I was communicating with asked me for a deposit today, but I don't want to get burned because I have never hired this guy.

I agree with you. It is not common practice for a 1 hour booking. I have been hiring escorts for several years now and have only been asked for a deposit once, which I declined.
