I have admired Jake Mitchell for years; I am thinking of scheduling a massage during an upcoming trip to LA; any observations would be great!

I watched the first 4 episodes last night; I liked the characters and the actors; it was definitely thought-provoking for me, a guy in his mid-60s who came out when he was in his early 50s, figuring out how to end a 25-year marriage and preserve relationships with children, parents, other relatives, friends from college and later life who knew me as a straight man; interestingly enough, the process continues to this day. And I think the progress that has been made in our society with marriage equality, employment discrimination laws, and television and movies with gay and lesbian characters has made all of this possible.

Axiom, I just read your report on the other site; thank you for posting this; and I am sorry there were all the miscommunications and expectations not met! Another trip may very well be better simply because you now know the lay of the land; I was traveling with my partner and did not really have a chance to explore, but it seems to me that finding a dependable gay guide would be the best alternative if I were going alone.

I saw him a couple of years ago in San Diego; he's a nice guy; we started out with a massage and went from there; I would not hesitate to give him a call.

I was there a year ago on a people-to-people exchange; there was a gay-friendly restaurant (apparently with a drag show) that our guide told us about; we tried to go but it was closed for the holiday; there are areas where guys congregate, too; ask your guide and I am sure he can tell you where you might find good places to go.

I saw him in WeHo a couple of months ago; he seemed more interested in the commercial side of the transaction and I thought the massage was pretty mechanical; I don't think I'd be tempted to see him again with all the other options in LA.

I've notice that, after the shouting is over on MSNBC, it's fun to watch these shows; Scott McGillivray is really a hunk; and Chip Wade, of John Gidding's crew, is a hottie; much fun to watch!!!
