Sometimes my providers will have the license posted on the wall. I'll give an unlicensed person a chance if others say they are good or if they have years of experience. You can usually look up a license and whether it is current.

Yikes re: his latest review: I had a disappointing and upsetting experience. I was running a bit late for our scheduled appointment and respectfully informed him in advance. I even offered to compensate him fully for the time I was late, but instead of working with me or accepting my offer, he abruptly canceled the session and responded with hostility. His tone became rude and unnecessarily aggressive, which left me feeling disrespected and shaken. I tried to remain calm and courteous, but the interaction felt unnecessarily punitive and intimidating. I do not recommend this provider based on how poorly and unprofessionally the situation was handled
