  1. I met with him today — what a sweet, big, hot guy. It was his day off, but we met at HK (in the downstairs, v private room). The massage was quite good, made better by his large hands, and the extras were even better. I would absolutely repeat.
  2. Hmmmm…Djoker’s last couple of matches have been much closer than I thought they would be. I’m expecting / hoping that Sinner will slaughter him (and that he’ll finally retire at the end of the year), as a die-hard anyone-but-Djoker fan. Don’t get me wrong — I think his game and what he does for lesser ranked players is amazing, but I can’t stand anything else about him. I’m hoping Sinner gets some revenge on Carlitos in the final after losing all of those match points in the French final, but can’t say I’m confident he or anyone can beat CA on grass right now. And Fritz — snore. The American men’s drought will continue for a long while unless Shelton can amp it up a lot more. As for the women, a Sabalenka / Swiatek final would be great, esp if they both bring their A game. I’m pulling for Sabalenka to take it all after her tough losses in the last 2 major finals. Her best beats everyone else’s right now — as long as she holds it together emotionally.
  3. Just fyi — he’s back in NYC just until Saturday. I went back for 2nds yesterday 😏
  4. What if everyone were to just list their personal favorite 3-5 masseurs and where they work? Mine would be, in no particular order: Lucamassini (on RM), LuisNYC (on RM), Giovanni at 27 Men Spa, and Jay at 27 Men Spa (AsianMuscular on RM). Shoutout to Sandro at 27 as well. I’ve only been to 27 & HK btw. 5. Glad he’s finally coming back. Hope he’s fully recovered. And repertoire was already pretty broad 😏
  6. I finally saw CALL ME IZZY this week, and continue to LOVE Jean Smart. This is a much darker play than I expected / the comedic things that she normally does, but it has many funny moments. It also didn’t feel incredibly modern (to me), but I thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely recommend seeing it before it closes.
  7. I’m also a client and he’s in Brazil, where he’s from. He seriously injured himself at the gym a couple of months ago and flew back to Brazil for treatment. He said he’d be back in June, but…? I’ve never had a 4-hands massage w/ him (or anyone 😢) so can’t comment on that. He typically keeps me fully occupied 😏
  8. I’ve been meaning to read his earlier books BLACKTOP WASTELAND and RAZORBLADE TEARS for a long while now. Thanks for the reminder. Sidenote: remember to support your local indie bookstores folks. Amazon is…Amazon.
  9. You might want to avoid using racist terminology like ghetto and hood. JFC - it’s 2025. The NYC Pride parade should be “interesting” this year considering how many corporate sponsors have pulled out so they’re not seen as supporting DEI - if they ever actually gave a sh!t in the first place.
  10. I drove all the way to the Bronx to see him, and it was So Worth it! He says he is power vers, and have to say I agree 😏 Also, if you haven’t seen his work online, check him out. He’s been one of my faves for a long while now.
  11. @pubic_assistance you’re such a b!+(# … and I’m so here for it 😉
  12. I started watching, went to a 75-minute yoga class, came home, took a shower, walked my dogs over a mile, came back home and it was still going! What I saw was such a high level, so even though I was pulling for Sinner, I have to applaud Carlitos — unlike the women’s final where Sabalenka fell apart and gave the match to Coco yet again, just like at the US Open. (Coco’s A game doesn’t really come close to Sabalenka’s A game imho. No one’s does right now.) Then I went to meet w a Sniffies hook-up for the 2nd time 😜
  13. Prostitution is also legal to some degree in many of these countries (most of S America, etc), so it doesn’t come with the same stigma that it has in this ridiculously uptight country.
  14. French Open finals this weekend — who are your picks? I’m pulling for Sabalenka in the women’s final. When she plays her A game, no one can beat her. Hoping Sinner wins today over Djoker to set up a final w/ Alcaraz. Love both but hoping Sinner turns the tide.
  15. CALL ME BY YOUR NAME is still the last book to make me cry. Soooooo much better than the movie. Speaking of books that make ppl cry, Everyone seems to have sobbed reading Hanya Yanagihara’s A LITTLE LIFE. I loved reading and highly recommend it but found it too implausible to actually buy into it emotionally.
  16. Totally agree — met my partner in 2002, and can’t imagine trying to date in NYC (or any other major US city) now. Sounds like a nitemare, unless you’re just looking for sex. But I’ve seen or heard so many similar complaints that it seems like there are many guys out there looking for more. How you all find each other, I don’t personally know, but this isn’t an isolated situation.
  17. I wonder how often they do 4-hand massages, if they enjoy doing them, and if I’m missing out by not getting one! 🤪😂🥳
  18. I assume you’ve talked to your friends about your situation? Are any going through something similar, or is it (seemingly) just you? How did they get past it if they’ve gone thru it, or how are they dealing with it if they’re having similar experiences?
  19. For selfish reasons, this sucks. He’s soooooo good! I hope he’s ok.
  20. I think he does realize he’s bottoming out, hence this hire. I’m assume Goran had many asking for his help, so I hope this decision means Goran thinks Tsitsi can rediscover his mojo. While I don’t see him beating Sinner & Carlitos, I think he has a chance against just about everyone else when he’s playing well — he just needs to drastically improve that backhand (return). I don’t know why I keep holding out hope for him, but he’s too good to be where he is with the results he’s had the past 2 years.
  21. I’m curious to know what any tennis fans out there think about Tsitsipas hiring Ivanisevic as his new coach. Having fallen out of the top 20 after 7 years (mostly in the top 6), he clearly needs a big change. Many of the sandwich generation (Medvedev, Tsitsi, Rublev, Ruud) are out of the top 10 now after being major contenders. Sinner and Carlitos have flown by them.
  22. I hope they both make the RG final. Sinner looked incredible in Rome considering he’d been out for 3 months. Carlitos may still win, but I think it will be a battle, hopefully one that goes the distance.
  23. I have only seen him once but had a great time. This thread is reminding me that I should see him again.
  24. The US is going to see tourism continue to drop for the foreseeable future, for obv reasons. And that’s going to have so many repercussions.
  25. Can’t wait for him to get to NYC, but he says he’s hosting in The Bronx…
