Detroit for some reason, seems to attract shady traveling providers; especially recently. I’m doing my civic duty by letting y’all know we have another one passing through. https://www.masseurfinder.com/massage-therapists/48950/ This guy is visiting Detroit currently, so I proceeded to do my do diligence by snooping around some before reaching out to him. After about an hour, this is what I came across. He’s is a serious name changer, and has gone by a host of names. Julian_young , Igorlmt, Igor, Sergei, and if you search the following numbers, there’s more interesting reading: 48379, 47568, 47689. After learning all this, it was a simple decision to pass on this guy. Hopefully my post will save ya some research time and help you in some way. 😊

Thank you Apple1 for posting this. He’s been on my wish list for quite some time now, and the next time I was in Chicago intended to book him. I’m sincerely grateful that I saw your post. I’m sorry for your experience, but if it makes you feel any better, you saved me on this one! I totally agree with you that his ad is projecting something it’s not. Until fairly recently, he also had an ad on RMen with videos! That ad is down currently. It’s his right and prerogative to change what he’s offering, but his ad(s) should reflect that. Others commented that his price point implies a therapeutic massage only. Well, the same can be said about his ad and pictures. Thanks again for posting this. 👍🏼

I stumbled across this thread this morning and was surprised, and quite bewildered by some of the comments and reactions. 🤔 When this story first came to light, I too was captivated, and followed the developments. I really appreciate the poster posting this update. Like some others, I found myself mystified by the association between these two men? In my opinion, the Doctor appeared to be a successful handsome man of means while the other man, IMO of course, looked like he was a paycheck away from being homeless, and a yes, thuggish. I did consider that this was a mugshot, which we know aren’t capturing our best moments or very flattering. But since that time, I’ve seen other images posted, and in my opinion of this murder, hasn’t change. If I saw him walking towards me, I’d probably change direction. With that said, I agreed with what Wonderlust307 said in his post. So when I read Public_assistant’s response, I was even more surprised. I’m also bewildered & confused as to why this man’s race got pulIed into the mix??? It’s so irrelevant. In a million years I wouldn’t have paired these two men together. A handsome successful Doctor with a man sporting what appears to be teardrop tattoos on his face, and looking like he’s on the verge of homelessness? In addition to that, he’s got a rough/hard look about him 😳. The two of them just don’t make sense to me. So I continue to wonder how this really happened? Could the guys personality really be that amazing??? 🤔 Or was there much more to all this? Drugs + intimacy? Blackmail? Perhaps we’ll never completely know. So often we read about successful appearing folks leading two completely opposite lives. Unfortunately for this doctor, his was revealed in a sad and very public way. Like one of the other posters mentioned, you’d think that a man of his means could afford to be associated with higher end escorts? So as much as I’d like to make some sort of sense out of this tragedy, I’ll have to remain mystified by it … for now at least. Perhaps more information will surface.🤷🏼‍♂️ Thanks again poster for this intriguing post.

I’ve seen Rusty for a massage as well. He is one of my top five providers I’ve experienced. My experience was absolutely amazing. He’s trained, and it shows. The sensual aspects are beautifully woven in throughout the entire experience. I will definitely repeat and would certainly recommend.

If I only help one person, I feel like I helped. You made my day! Thanks! I could have said quite a bit more, but I felt like I said enough to get the idea of what kind of provider he is. It was a very awkward position to find yourself in, and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.

Anthony’s in Metro-Detroit currently, so based on the little, but positive reviews I read, I booked him. Got a quick response when I inquired. I asked specifically about my expectations for a (sensual/Swedish massage.) He agreed and quoted me $160. Was on a bed, no face cradle. Once I was ready and as he started, then everything changed and then the up-sell 🤦🏼‍♂️. Clearly there wasn’t any connection there. It happens. But now he said it was a 40 minute massage with the typical things you might expect, or for $60 more a 60 minute massage. WTH? I don’t know why, but ended up agreeing to the 40 minute one. 😏 I had driven 30 minutes, so I gave it a shot. He’s definitely train, and it would have been really nice for 60 minutes. It was all mechanical at the end I would NEVER repeat not recommend. Now YMMV, but since there wasn’t anything written about to the contrary, I felt I should post about it.

Looks like a pass on this one. I was hoping he got his act together and improved, but I’m not getting that sense. 😏

Gee Medin, so sorry to hear about your experience, but thank you for your post. He’s visiting my area and you’ve saved me wasting my time and money. Another example of the value of this forum. You absolutely cannot trust the RMasseur reviews. In my experience, the RM site reviews are a complete waste of time/space. They won’t allow negative reviews. If you’re successful in getting one through, it’s promptly removed. THIS site is the only true way to get an honest picture of providers. Thanks again for your post 👍🏼.

Heads up Ann Arbor & Midland! This provider is NOT as advertised. RMasseur keeps rejecting, and /or removing negative reviews which bewilders me, but do your research on this one! I recommend avoiding him at all cost. I left a lengthy description of my unfortunate experience here :

I’ve had the pleasure of seeing Logan too. I was a bit hesitant because of his higher, or at least at the time 😏), rate and that he didn’t post a face shot. I knew I could watch a video, but I didn’t think it wouldn’t be accurate enough. One day I decided to treat myself for my birthday & booked an appointment with him. It was the best treat I’ve given myself in years! I’ve had about 30-40 massages over the years, so I’m not an expert, but I’ve had some experience. To date, he’s #1 on my list for all around best experiences. You truly can’t go wrong with him. I can’t wait to see him again.

I have had the pleasure of seeing Cato two times now while he was traveling. Both times the experience was phenomenal! He’s developed his own unique techniques that were amazing. He’s also a very kind and warm man. He makes you feel so cared for while you’re with him. You absolutely will not regret a decision to see him. He’s in my top 3 favorites. I can’t wait until he comes to town again.

UPDATE: His ad is down now 😅 While my first attempt to post a more accurate and honest depiction of what to expect from this provider was rejected TWICE by RMasseur, I was successful in my third attempt. Ya might want to take note of this, in order for me to get my unedited, embarrassingly poorly written third review to post, I had to give him 5 stars. 😝🤦🏼‍♂️ After that you can mark everything else accordingly. 👍🏼 Hope this helps someone else. 😊

It’s funny you should mention the possibility it’s a type of scam he’s running. That’s the same thought I had a little later. I didn’t mention in my initial post because I didn’t want to be too harsh, especially given it was my first post here. 😂 But now two of us have had similar experiences, felt/smelled the scam thought, and had polar opposite experiences than the reviewers on his site. This only makes THIS site even more valuable! I’ve always read the reviews with a healthy amount of skepticism, but now I’m not certain they can be trusted at all? I will investigate leaving him a review tonight, but I believe you have to join something to do so 🤷🏼‍♂️. I’ll find out. He just arrived today for a TWO week stint/stay, so has he decided it’s time to move up to the much, much larger metro Detroit area?

Since all his reviews on RMasseur are gushing/glowing, I thought I’d post my experience. Keeping in mind that your experience may vary, I feel it’s necessary to post another experience … contrary to those glowing reviews that you’ll see on RMasseur. I’d like to start off by saying that I take no … ZERO pleasure in posting a negative experience with a provider, but at the rates that they’re charging these days, it’s only fair that the client(s) receive the balanced picture of who they’re hiring so they can base their decision accordingly. With that said, on to my experience. I noticed his ad a while ago, probably a year or better, but he lives in the Flint area, which is about an hour away from me, so I waited. In his ad, his reviews were all amazing, I also liked the way he described the experience he provided. His rates, at that time, were very reasonable (140 I believe), so when I saw that he was visiting close by, I jumped on it. The choices in provider’s are slim in the metro Detroit area, especially if you’re interested in a local or finding someone regular to hire. The good part: Setting up the appointment, (via text), was seamless. 👍🏼 He was prompt and detailed with his reply 👍🏼, answered all my questions 👍🏼, and was flexible with scheduling a time that would work for both of us 👍🏼👍🏼. * It’s important to note here that I rarely see a provider that hasn’t been mentioned on this platform, so this deviation was based on his length of time being on the site, his reviews, his rate (at the time), and the fact that he was NOT just passing through. The Experience: When I arrived and he opened the door, I was pleasantly surprised that he was actually more attractive than his profile pics (IMHO), was jovial, but acted a bit jittery/nervous … certainly more nervous than I was, which set off my first red flag. The other thing I noticed was a strong odor of something that smelled a lot like marijuana, or someone’s attempt to mask that distinctive scent. While this alone isn’t a deal breaker for me, it was another mental note, and another red flag. Lights & TV (news) were on throughout the first half of my experience. I guess I expected that to change once he got started, but unfortunately it didn’t. After about 20-30 minutes, I ended up asking him to shut some of them off. 🤷🏼‍♂️ I’m pretty flexible with how the provider sets their workspace up, but it’s always really nice when you can see that they made an effort. Shortly after arriving I discovered he’s a talker, BIG time! He talked incessantly for the entire experience … and about nothing of any substance that I can recall, just small talk … which is okay for a while, but grows old when you’re trying to relax. I did try not engaging him, but it continued to the very end. I can’t recall ever having experience that before? You’re probably wondering just about now, why I didn’t just leave? I’m an optimist, and as long as safety isn’t a concern for me, I tend to be remain hopeful that it will get better. Sadly, this time it didn’t happen . The massage part: Over the years I’ve had about 30 massages, so I’m not an expert, but I do know what a trained or experienced professional massage is like vs a rub/tug one. Unfortunately this experience was the latter. 😐 He spent about 90% of the time with me face down. He demonstrated NO massage skills at all, and primarily moved his hands in a circular motion in the center of my back. He spent about 5-7 minutes on my arms, legs, and feet combined 🫤 and about 5 minutes after I turned over. No (ZERO) massage done on my front (legs, arms, chest, etc.), and used tons of oil. It concluded with a mechanical HE. I paid him his 160 rate + gave him a 20 for a tip, which in hindsight I regret now. I kind of did it automatically, and maybe a little because I felt sorry for him, I’m not exactly sure why 🤷🏼‍♂️. I am a firm believer in tipping though, but in some situations, by doing so, it furthers this notion that you somehow deserve a tip, regardless of your performance. * excluding of course professionals, like waitstaff for instance, who depend on their tips to make up for the meager hourly rate they receive. But in this situation, I was already paying a premium rate for a personalized experience that’s not offered at a massage salon, so in my opinion, the tip is to show appreciation for a satisfactory or beyond performance. On my trip home I started thinking , who are these folks posting these reviews? Friends? Family? The Provider himself? 🤷🏼‍♂️ If not, why was my experience nothing even remotely like they described theirs as being? I get that everyone has their bad/off days, and perhaps Rico was having one of his, but it doesn’t explain forgetting your massage skills, (if you ever had them in the first place.) I also know that while I’m no Chris Hemsworth, I’m not John Reilly either! Sorry John 😂. Perhaps it was something else, so for now it’ll remain a mystery. As mentioned earlier, I’ve relied on this site for years now to help me make sound decisions on providers. You guys have never let me down. Your open, honest, detailed, and sometimes heartfelt reviews have saved me a bundle! Not to mention the letdown of having a subpar experience not to mention the wasted time. This review is my way of paying it forward, and to show my appreciation. I hope that it helps at least one of you trying to make a decision on hiring him 😊 .
