Thought I'd come back and update since I met Beau earlier this week in London. Easily one of the best hiring experiences I've had. Communication stayed good beforehand, he arrived on time and followed through fully on what we had discussed. Looks like his pictures, very charming and really good fun both to talk to and to play with. Not a clock watcher, we overran time but he wouldn't take any extra over the agreed fee when I offered, saying it had been his choice to stay longer. I think its down to personal preference, both for you and the provider. My preference is to book in advance for London, but that's because I'm also only visiting and so like to line up my itinerary in advance. I'm also not the most spontaneous of people if I'm being honest so planning is just my thing. As an example, I'm heading there in a week's time and decided I could afford 2 meets. I reached out to two providers last week and have arranged time with them both. Hopefully, job done. But if either drops out, I've still got time to reach out to someone else on my wishlist. If you're using Rentmen, then the 'available now' might be useful if you like a last minute meet, but its obvious limited to those with immediate availability. Wouldn't work for me but might for you. As @Jamie21 said, if you're booking in advance, be flexible and give a few options of dates/times and you should be able to arrange what you're looking for. I always offer to reconfirm the appointment the day before so the provider knows I'm still around, as well as confirming on the day when I'm on my way to them - offering both seems to go down well (no pun intended!)
