One of the premises has always made little sense to me. Nick admits that he hopes to sleep with professors’ wives in order to advance his career. This seems like the worst possible thing a young male professor can do, particularly at a small liberal arts college campus. The absolute best case scenario is that (1) none of the husbands find out; (2) the wives he sleeps with never turn on him; and (3) the wives convince their husbands that he’s a good addition to the department from a social perspective even if he’s marginal professionally. More likely, this strategy is a quick way to get tossed out the door and probably blacklisted elsewhere. Sleeping with the college president’s volatile, married daughter seems like a dumb idea, too. Could someone please explain?

There was one kid whom I barely spoke to while we were in school together. We moved during elementary school, which landed me at a different school. A year later after I left, he came at me a district-wide event. I was caught off guard. I looked him up: He‘s a medical guy—but not a physician—with a practice he apparently inherited. I hope that someone beat him up in the meantime.

I thought Goodrx was just a price comparison site. They list the cost of X quantity of a medication at every pharmacy in the area. Does handing over the card change anything? What you mAy want to do, especially with newish brand name meds, is to search out manufacturer coupons. Some pharmacies will do this for you, but not all. Also, certain online pharmacies negotiate their own deals with pharma companies on certain drugs. I know of one such pharmacy in CA.
