I was a bit pissed off to find how exaggerated the initial reports were-- they "destroyed" the rest room, they broke a door down, etc. Discovering that they peed against an outside wall and Lochte knocked down a poster, and were then held at gunpoint and were demanded to pay up is not the story we were told. Lochte's drunken lie to his mother and Billy Bush (he said he was still drunk when he did that interview, and watching it, I believe him) was stupid and compounded the whole issue, but the fact that the other swimmer had to make an $11.000 "donation" to leave the country makes it sound as if the authorities were taking full advantage of the situation.

Enough already! Stop hammering this guy. He lied to his mother (who hasn't done that) about a night out on the town. She's the one who spilled the beans to the press and the story rolled downhill from there.

It's admittedly a generalization about the A-List and top-dollar escorts. Often you're not just meeting a man for a one-on-one encounter; the escort is in the business of presenting his escort persona. In my typical escort encounter the name just served to identify that the call was from a client -- the name gets peeled away and dropped to the floor with his pants. At that point you're spending time with a hot guy.
 
Many of the top-tier guys whether they're in porn or not are selling an image of an awesome character who is out of my league. The character/persona never drops. The entire session is about how much that awesome character is willing to give up to you for your $300/hr.
