Who said anything about bad service? No one. If you get bad service, don't tip - don't go back. What I said is that he was willing to do more for those who tip consistently. It only makes sense, if you have a choice between two clients wanting the same appointment time, I think everyone would choose the one who tips regularly. If a client asks for a prostate massage but never tips, why bother? But if they tip regularly the odds will go way up that the masseur says "Sure." Do you need to tip masseurs who run their own business? I guess not, but I appreciate good service and will gladly pay a few extra bucks to ensure it. I think it is reasonable to expect a good massage when you don't tip, but I also think it is reasonable to expect better service when I do tip regularly.

I believe that if you want continued great service (or increasingly better) service, tipping is a wise choice. I was chatting about tips with a local masseur who was honest that while everyone gets a great base massage, those who tip regularly get better service with scheduling preference and "extras" on the table. Just keep that in mind. Also with masseurs who work for themselves, know that they are probably paying at least 5% if you us a credit card or other electronic payments. I would think that it is important to tip when you are late, early, shower at their place, rescheduled your appointment or have any special requests like "keep the room hot" or "wear x clothing" or "I need to remain anonymous" or "no oils or scents" or music requests etc. I remember reading a bad review years ago from a client who apparently showed up 30 mins late (due to traffic and parking) showered at the masseur's home before the massage and was offended that he only got 75 mins on the table instead of 90 mins (even though he had now taken up two hours of the masseur's time). All I could think when I read that was it was the masseur who should be writing the bad review about the client and you know the guy would not have tipped either.

I feel that 20% is fair for "rub and tug." Personally I tip at least 25% or more if I find a legit massage with sensual/erotic elements. I feel that if they can actually give a really good therapeutic massage they deserve the tip more than just being cute or naked.

For some reason, you have to use "Washington DC" to do a search. Just DC will not give you results.

You can do a search for Washington DC to see a lot of reviews. My favorites are:

I had a massage from him today and it was really amazing. He is definitely trained and can give a great therapeutic massage. He looks exactly like his pictures and he seems really nice! I believe that smile is genuine. Nice location, nice studio with attached bathroom. Heated table. He worked plenty of sensual elements into the massage, he gets on the table with you at times, MT, HE, and has no issues with nudity. This was truly one of the best massage experiences I have had. I just wished he was closer to where I live. Parking was fine and the neighborhood seemed safe, just a little difficult to get into and out of when coming from the East. I will still use Charlie in Hyattsville as my primary but Daniel will be my special occasion (change of pace) guy. There was no upselling but I left a hefty tip. He is reasonably priced and DEFINITELY WORTH IT! Just do it!

I tried to search to find this topic and could not find one, so sorry if this is a repeat topic. On Rentmasseur there are types of massage offered: Therapeutic, Sensual, Erotic. I get Therapeutic, but I don't guess I understand the difference between sensual and erotic. Any guesses? Is there a blatant definition that I am missing somewhere? Thanks in advance.

Trying to figure out which reviews to trust. On Masseurfinder I noticed that it says "reviews gathered by (masseur name) from admiring massage clients to share with you" Does that mean the masseur is supplying all of the reviews? How does that work? On Rentmasseur there is a "submit review" button for each masseur, so can I assume that all those reviews are actually submitted by clients and not the masseurs? Does anyone have info on this?

Curious as to whether anyone has tried MJ at Squire Massage in SE Washington DC? https://www.squiremassage.com/

Never saw an ad quite like that before...
-
I contacted him a year ago looking for HE and both N, he said that would be an extra $100 over his current rates. I told him that was too much for my budget.
-
Bump, I have heard good things about him, but cannot find his info.
-
He apparently only does out calls and strictly within the District, I live just out side the district, still well within the beltway and he wouldn't travel that far.

I saw him today. Super nice guy, very good looking. He charges a lot less than he could/should be getting. He is definitely trained in deep tissue and Swedish. He worked in sensual and erotic elements that we had talked about before hand. He is very upfront with what he will do and what he charges (which is $50 to $100 less than others in this area of town). He is located across from Annies on 17th, so convenient. Over all I really liked it and would definitely go back again, though Charlie in Hyattsville will be my more likely choice since he is more convenient for me and charges slightly less and is just a tad more personable if not as young.

I have pm'd you, would love to hear more.

I liked the massage, MT HE and would work nude if asked in advance. I didn't like his location or his actual condo, nothing terrible just difficult and a bit run down. He is also a bit hard to schedule with because he splits his time between Virginia and Delaware. It was well over a year ago that I saw him.

Hard to prove a negative... I have given positive reviews for Jason and DC and Charlie in Hyattsville MD. Not sure a masseur looking for business would do that.
-
LOL! Hardly. I was the first to notice that he changed his description. I have tried to reach him for the last 24 hours, no response. He is now on travel apparently.

Hyattsville is East of the District but still inside the Beltway. So Timothy's ad originally read (a bit more suggestively): Trained athlete offering relaxing, rejuvenating massage experiences. Mainly tailored to athletes and fitness minded men who need to refresh their bodies to maintain performance. My private in-home studio has all you need from showers to refreshments to calming music. Majority of my clients come in seeking supporting muscle growth and leave feeling released and refreshed. Feel free to message me with any specific needs or requests, can meet almost all of them to give your body what it needs with my strength.

Wow. I mean for that price... one will expect some serious erotic work...
