  1. Because this is a place to dicuss interesting topics on massage. I find it refreshing to have topics like this rather than a constant stream of 411's.
  2. I do not believe that you owe him a refund. You provided the agreed upon service sufficiently . As Judge Judy would say "He ate the Steak". As far as the allergic reaction goes, you as the professional could have asked him if he had any allergies,...but ultimately it's up to him to let his sensitivities be known. If you want to show good will, you could offer him a discount on his next session...using a different lotion of course. However, he may not choose to return.
  3. It would be better if you PM your request to me directly rather hope that I stumble upon your request for a PM. Just sayin...
  4. He told me the same thing when I tried to book with him again last week. No longer nude. He was always strictly therapeutic with me (and his massage skills are great), but that incredible body was perfect eye candy.
  5. Yes. You leave a trace. If the masseur has a Gold membership. They are notified who visits them. See my post where the masseur texted directly to my phone number: https://www.companyofmen.org/threads/my-phone-number-was-exposed-on-rentmasseur.147197/
  6. Thanks. Luckily it was my VOIP number so I am not that concerned. If it had been my real number, I would have more concern. I merely posted to share my experience...and as a warning to others.
  7. Here is one method but it requires a little legwork. Not sure how they would tell as the number is coming in: http://www.freecarrierlookup.com/ If it says something like Sybase or Bandwidth then it is a VOIP number. For example, mine says "Go-TextMe (Sybase) "
  8. I believe that I entered my phone number as part of my upgrade process from a regular membership to a platinum membership last month.
  9. Luckily I was using a similar VOIP service (TextMe). However, it was still disturbing having that text come directly to my phone unsolicited.
  10. I wrote about this yesterday as part of another thread. I feel that it deserves a thread of its own. I visited a masseur's ad on RentMasseur this past Sunday and again on Monday. I noticed Monday afternoon that I had received 2 texts from that masseur directly to my cell phone. I asked the masseur how he got me number and he sent me a picture of my phone number displayed in my profile. It looks like it would appear if you clicked the "call me" option. I didn't remember entering my phone number anywhere...but then realized that I had just upgraded my account to a Premium membership last month. I was probably asked for it during that process. I searched my profile using my computer to find where my phone number was entered so that I could remove it. I could not find it anywhere. I reached out to RentMasseur and they quickly responded that they removed my phone number. I asked them how my number was exposed like that. They responded with -- Hello again, Thank you for your reply. Indeed, there was an issue on the mobile version of RentMasseur and the client phone numbers were visible there. We have already forwarded the issue to our developer team and they'll fix it until the end of the day. We're sorry for any inconvenience and we thank you for informing us about the issue! Regards, WebAdmin --
  11. I checked out his ad on Sunday. He saw that I had viewed his and he sent me a text introducing himself and asked if I wanted a session. How he was able to text me, i do not know as I had not messaged him or given him my number. I browsed his ad again today when I read your post and he texted me again...this time letting me know that he was in Silver Spring. At this point, I thought "OK. I have got him on the line, I will see what I could find out about him" I asked if he had a pic, since the one on his ad was taken from a far distance. He replied with a close up face shot...with bunny ears and whiskers drawn on (a la snapchat). == Edit: We had continued our conversation about expectations in an ad, and communication. I also asked him how he got my number. He showed me that somehow in my profile, I have phone number exposed. I will need to adjust my setting. This is a caution to others... Also, he seems to be a very nice guy. I am still trying to get over those bunny ears though
  12. Sorry. I didn't see the request for a PM. I will PM you now
  13. You already asked about him here: https://www.companyofmen.org/threads/411-on-bodytendr.143634/
  14. His ad is NOT set up like the Itunes Card scammers. I have reported to RentMasseur and they have deleted more than 100 of the Itunes Card scammer ads over the past 3 weeks. Those ads have certain identifiable pattern about them, and this doesn't follow that pattern.
  15. The other Brother (Don) https://www.masseurfinder.com/massage-therapists/32125/ ...and no, I have not seen either Brother.
  16. No. The ads are clearly recognizable. When I see one, I click on the Contact RentMasseur.com link at the bottom of the page, and paste in the url. The Webmaster sends me an email when the ads have been removed. There are four of them out there right now that I have reported, but have not yet been removed. Check them out to see if you can see the pattern before they are removed: https://rentmasseur.com/mckale https://rentmasseur.com/dahir https://rentmasseur.com/zavier https://rentmasseur.com/byronn
  17. I have made it a mission over the past two weeks to hunt down the itunes scammer ads and report them to RentMasseur. I have reported 60+ ads thus far. RentMasseur has been very responsive in removing the ads. Most are removed within a couple hours of my reporting them. However, it's like a wack-a-mole game. As the webmaster is removing the ads, a couple others pop up.
  18. Search for Pavel shows lots https://www.companyofmen.org/threads/warning-czech_jock-in-washington-dc-a-k-a-pavel.138955 https://www.companyofmen.org/threads/411-pavel.134867/
  19. I saw him a couple months ago. Nice guy. Strictly Therapeutic. Also note the type of massage listed is Reflexology & Shiatsu. It is not your regular swedish/deep tissue type of massage. If you like these styles, then he might be the guy for you. However, I am not fond of these styles.
  20. I have not seen him. I was merely noting that he was using someone else's pics.
  21. Keith is using pics (has been for a while) from this Instagram guy based in Los Angeles https://www.instagram.com/gainsbygaines/
  22. His ad says that he has 20% off of a 90min session. The price for a 60min session is listed as $170, but 90min session is not listed. I reached out and he quoted me $300 for a 90min session. I asked if that included the 20% discount. He responded "Sorry, it's $280 as 90mins is regularly $350." WTF?! I asked him to check his math as it would seem correct that a 90min session would regularly be $250 ($170 for 60min + $80 for an additional 30min) not $350. There was not response. Yeah, I know. How dare me challenge his rate structure. At this point, I was curious to hear what his response would be.
  23. I saw Jay 5+ years ago. Nice guy, good massage. MN & MT OK. Does not believe in release. Wants you to retain the energy.
  24. His ad says "Available Now"
