That is interesting. I've not thought or considered that but very true in today's USA.

I'm a bit more sarcastic than normal today... How in the hell do these ads draw anyone in? Are there really that many more premium members versus unpaid freeloaders like me? And I hardly ever see these locked pictures in the listing, but two back to back?

I received the flu shot on Friday afternoon and the COVID shot on Monday afternoon. My PCP clinic didn’t have the COVID vaccine stocked yet. At Walgreens, they asked why I needed it, since they’re prioritizing high-risk populations. I told the pharmacy tech about my underlying condition and got the shot—no problem. And I'm in TexAss, where they think GOD will save us by praying. I had no symptoms from the flu shot other than a tender arm for about a day. The COVID shot, though, gave me a low-grade fever, body aches, and a headache that lasted around 36 hours.

Any pickup spots in NYC these days? The recent update to Townhouse got me wondering if there are any hotspots in the BIG APPLE. I still miss Rounds and the other Townhouse.

I agree with all the complaints about resort and parking fees—it's insane. What compounds my frustration is that many properties, such as Vdara and Delano (now W), have dismal, disengaged employees who seem to lack basic empathy or concern for their guests. Too often, you're treated like just another number. Just my humble opinion, of course.

I was thinking about the series... now I'm going to have to watch.
