Has anyone had success in the current job market? I’ve recently found myself in an unstable position due to client restructuring, and I’m unsure whether my current contract will survive. Like many of us here, I’ve worked hard and faced challenges—especially around diversity and how employers and clients perceive us. While we’re likely better off today than we were in the ’80s, ’90s, or early 2000s, I never had the financial resources to pursue advanced degrees when I was younger. So here’s my question: has anyone over 50, with deep experience but without advanced degrees or certifications, managed to secure meaningful employment recently? My current gig has lasted nearly 10 years, and I’m scared as hell about losing everything and having to start over. Thanks Y'all!

Does anyone know why hotel rates are so high for Tuesday, October 14? I thought maybe they'd be more reasonable with the shutdown. Most of the places I stay are sold out.

I've seen Leo a few times, too. I do not think he is as buff as his pictures lead us to believe. But he is a great guy and good at what he does. Recently, I have noticed he does not respond to messages on Rentmen. Sad.

I met him. I was not impressed and didn't extend. He is cute/pretty/handsome - whatever you call it, but he was not engaging at all for me.
