Ok boys so here it is. I wanna fuck for money. Looking for any input that gives me a little more education and knowledge on the subject  thanks.

I think that one thing to consider is that you will be dealing with men not boys.  Men of all shapes sizes and ages and for the most part, you will probably not find them physically attractive.  If your hope is to cherry pick the cream of the crop, you will be spending a lot of time picking out and very little time picking up.
Another thing to consider is that for many of the men, there is a lot more than fucking involved.  You need excellent interactive skills.  You need to prompt and dependable.  You need to have patience with clients who are new to the game and know nothing.  (Similar to the situation you are in right now but on the other end.).  You will need to be able to tailor your performance to the wants and needs of the client.  Ultimately, the client is paying for your skill at satisfying him. You will need to understand that many of your clients do not care if you enjoy yourself or not, as long as they do.  So, the client comes first and you may not come at all.
There will be time wasters, endless talkers and just about every variation of guys looking to get off without ever seeing you.
This work is not easy.  Clients are not easy.  Putting yourself second is not easy, especially for guys who want to "fuck for money."
However, if you are good and lucky, you will meet all kinds of men. Many of them intelligent and worldly and with more than a few bucks in the bank.  They may take you along to the interesting and exotic places they visit.  They may bring you to the nicest restaurants and cultural and sporting events.  All this can happen and has happened for some professional escorts who realize that escorting is a service profession and not just sexually servicing men for a few bucks.

I believe it's supposed to be set in the early 1880s.
It was around that time that Mrs. Astor was forced to recognize the 'upstart' Vanderbilts, which the Russell family seems to mirror in the tv show.  However, 'The Four Hundred' - the list of the 400 people who constituted 'Society', and based on the number that could fit in Caroline Astor's ballroom - was not compiled until the early 1890s, if I recall correctly.  Since the list is already mentioned in the show, the program plays a bit fast and loose with the historical timelines.
Also, the marriage of Gladys to the Duke is also set 10 years earlier than it was real life, if Gladys is meant to be analogous with Consuelo Vanderbilt, who married the Duke of Marlborough in the mid 1890s.

"Dolly: The Musical", the long awaited musical biopic of country icon Dolly Parton is slated to open at the August Wilson Theater on B'way this spring, but those who have already seen the show in previews have some serious doubts.
The show has opened in previews a couple of weeks ago for it's off-Broadway run at the Fisher Center in Nashville, ahead of its August 9 scheduled opening for a three-week limited engagement. Ticket prices for 'the first nine rows of orchestra' were priced at $295, with lower priced tix between $99 - $140 (again, these are 'Broadway ticket prices'  for a 'work-in-progress' musical in Nashville -keep that in mind). There has been much public criticism over the ticket prices and the theater has responded by offering more 'lower price' tickets (especially since the word-of-mouth has been horrendous).
Those who have seen the show said it's a 'disaster of Biblical times', a complete mess, and a 'wreck worse than the Titanic'. The show has a run time of over three hours, with Act 1 clocking in at 90 minutes (more recent reviews from this weekend said it's been cut to about 2 hours and 45 minutes; still too long for B'way). Those who have seen it said it feels more like a 'punishment' to fans rather than a tribute to Dolly. Another theater-goer said 'it doesn't know if it wants to be a concert or a musical biopic' as it keeps changing paths throughout the evening.  The set design, costumes, lighting, and song catalog are all heavily criticized from those who have seen it (some are saying the show really focuses on Parton's early years of her career, and glosses over the past 40 years). Many say the show has no direction.
Will it make it to B'way for the upcoming season ? That remains to be seen - the general consensus is that it need a ton of work, and it won't make it by March (it's proposed opening).  Others feel the producers will skip B'way altogether, and send it to 'Dollywood' as another attraction for park attendees.

Not meant as judgement:  I used to see what you talked about more, but mabye I only see it less now because I spend less time here.
I also dislike what you're talkingabout.   I make sure to use the "ignore" function.

We’ve all seen it happen: A benign thread on this site that gets derailed by haughty and venomous users who seemingly delight in belittling and bullying others. Sometimes their comments reflect an inability, or maybe an unwillingness, to accept that others simply disagree with them. Perhaps more disturbing are the times when their spite and snark emerge with no clear provocation, leaving the rest of us to wonder whether participating on this site is worth the hassle. Either way, this mean girl dynamic — the bullying of fellow users into submission and silence — is difficult to avoid on Company of Men, and it undermines this site as a space where all of us can convene and connect.

Outside of reporting such behavior to site administrators — an imperfect response that raises its own set of challenges — I see no clear path toward curbing this dynamic on CoM. (If others have suggestions, feel free to share.) I am naming it here for the benefit of others who, like me, are troubled by the mean-spiritedness of some of our fellow site members. You are not crazy; some of our peers on CoM are terribly unkind, and their petty and spiteful communication styles can make it difficult to spend time here.

And sure, this is not unique to CoM. Aggressive and malicious comments from others pervade practically every online domain imaginable. But I find the mean girl dynamic on CoM particularly disheartening because of the purpose of this site. As a gay man of a certain age who is often invisible in bars and clubs catering to the gym-bodied under-40 crowd, and who engages in the type of encounters discussed on this site, I don’t have many people that I can talk to about my specific “extracurricular activities.” (I imagine this is the case for some — not all, but some — of you as well.) I was so relieved when I finally discovered this site after years of wasting time and money on unskilled providers just looking to make a quick buck. I was also incredibly grateful for the outlet (and on some days, the lifeline) this site provided during the COVID lockdown. CoM has the potential to nurture a spirit-lifting camaraderie for those of us who struggle to find it elsewhere. I wish some of us weren’t so seemingly hellbent on tearing others down.

Note: I have not named any specific users in this post, as the issue at hand extends beyond any single user. I implore anyone who chooses to comment on this thread to follow suit.

I do not presume to speak for Oliver, who has worked very hard year after year for this event.   And at his age, getting very hard is not as easy as it used to be.  But, in my last conversation with him, he was definitely planning on returning to Palm Springs in a rental home and I would bet that his arm might be twistable.

I did subscribe to one individual. When he started all his vids were non pay-per-view (ppv). He was getting frustrated and I guess not making the money he expected. So he decided to switch his longer vids to ppv. I bought one or two. Then I decided to cancel my membership because he wasn’t making enough content that was non-ppv.
Although I haven’t subscribed to anyone new, there are guys who explicitly state that all their content is non-ppv. I’d stick to those guys in the future should I decide to subscribe again.

Not concerned about any television personality's finances.  If they live a well financed life, even small parted actors can live comfortably as long as they are working.
This is a much bigger issue.
A licensed broadcast company being sued by government officials and not taking a stand is, for me, a sign of a co-opted media which is one more step in a bad direction.  The "coincidental" cancelling of a show which is critical of the government officials, appears collusive.  Finances may favor cancelling a show, but the timing of this cancellation is suspicious of an attempt to quiet opposition.
PBS and NPR being defunded is another example of the media facing a government silencing.

I would agree too. I have tipped in the past because I've felt pressured. But thinking back now, the prices are insane....there shouldn't be anything more expected. The price is high because they're doing more than a massage.
