I told him that I thought it was strange that he didn't identify himself before writing me from a different number and to his creeit he apologized. Then he asked if I was going to send a deposit and I said I usually don't put deposits down, especially when I haven't booked. And he said it was a fee to show I was serious. No. If he had mentioned in his text message that he requires a deposit, I would have been okay with it. But very weird vibe that the WhatsApp message came from another phone with a totally different area code and had no message expanding who it was.
