  1. Useful for what. Getting an enema?
  2. Yes about 20/30. I cut down the list by also sending Rosh Hashanah cards to my Jewish friends. But no cards this year. Don’t get out of rehab until 12/24. Maybe I’ll have to try one of those newsletter things. But with the quarantine and hospital visits it could be a one paragraph missive.
  3. Damn!! There goes another fantasy.
  4. Talk about a Property Brother!
  5. I’d forgotten about The Wind in the Willows”. I read and reread it many times. A little later I got into historical novels like Johnny Tremain and Arundel and the World Book Encyclopedia. Ended up majoring in History - Medieval. I didn’t get to Dickens till after college.
  6. Not according to a lot of porn I’ve watched.

  17. Forgive my fat finger on an old iPhone 6.
  18. Interesting question. Decades ago I was a guest there for a drink in the bar. I noticed a fair number of aging catholic clergy - mainly Irish - giving shoulder massages to younger patrons.
  19. It’s important to note that the Upper West Side Y also operates as a hostel and all guests have access to its extensive gym and those showers sans dividers.
  20. There once was a day many decades ago when I could place both ankles behind my neck. Alas.
  21. ?Those were the days my friend We thought they’d never end ?

  24. Billy Budd is also a great opera by Benjamin Britton.
  25. Ok three: Walking west on a street in Soho I noticed a man faced the same way standing on a vacant loading ramp talking on his cellphone. As I passed I recognized the unique accent of Nathan Lane. In a crowded restaurant on the Upper West Side I noticed that the table beside us next to the rear door remained empty. Soon Jerry Seinfeld was seated with a guy with whom he grew up. I was listening. Soon he pulled out a handkerchief that would have made Pavarotti proud and began to honk. I worked for a while in Westchester. On the way to work I stopped at a local coffee shop in Armonk. As I got in line I noticed that Ron Howard was in line before me. He was/is local. I later learned that my colleague who was also local played basketball with him on Tuesday nights.
