  1. did not get his name but I will not be returning All my other visits were fair-poor and I am not a bad looking guy....slim 60s. There are much better choices in NYC. Maybe my expectations are too high---who knows. Like to get feedback from others who have gone here. Also cannot understand why the first 10-15 mins of the massage here is a towel massage...What a waste!

  2. Most Utopia masseurs short the massage I feel. It was the same case for me most of the time I visited.

Complain to manager + tip less !!

  3. Hey guys been reading this for a while but just made an account recently. Haven’t gotten a massage in a while, but went to greenhouse last night which is my go to. Only been to a couple other spots, but always feel most comfortable at greenhouse for some reason..

Never had a good massage there and made 5 visits !!!

  4. I stopped going to Greenhouse a few years ago as every time I went it was a bad experience. I remember one room being nice and then another room was small and tons of paper towels and toiler paper stored in there. None of the massages have been good and one time I even ended the massage halfway through it was the bad. It's been years though so perhaps things have gotten better.

I agree 100%....Never had a good experience there

  5. Unfortunately I had the same experience

Times Sq Spa and New hero Spa so much better ...both winners.. I am sure most of the other well-known ones covered here are better than Greenhouse. By the way Greenhouse is only Spa I left without tipping as I felt ripped off. AVOID

  6. Was there Sat night and what a concert !!! I thought she was in great voice altho she was not the Barbra of the 70s or 80s but for a 77 y/o she was superb. I wish she would have skipped the political talk and the Trump bashing which did get ugly at times. There were scattered boos for this. But all in all a 8.5 score out of 10 from me. This would probably be her last live concert and I do believe it will.

  7. For me, massage is a luxury and I set aside money to have a session every 3-4 weeks (sometimes more). I prefer men's spas because I like the energy at a place like Shangrila or Utopia. The masseurs I've used are typically men with limited English, may not have the skills to go to college immediately, and do not have a lot of alternatives. While there are many exceptions to what I just wrote, I see masseurs as hard working. When I am treated well (HE or not), I have no reservations giving 100% tip (or more). Using that approach, I tend to stay with the same masseur for a long time and sessions are always 5-star.

I like your post. I fully agree with you

  8. I think you should try Times Square Spa

Great Spa, Good Location, very Clean Rooms, Cute Asian Guys who I am sure will oblige and

Fulfill your fantasies. They go above and beyond.

I fully agree...Jimmy who runs the place is the best !!!

  9. Just went to new hero. I hadn’t realised they had changed name from Manta.

Andy gave me a table shower first, then a massage. Technically good, but I was shorted by over 10 minutes, and he tried to upsell.

Also frankly I wasn’t attracted to him.

So basically, same as old Manta. Won’t go again.

Andy should get a warning from management or even fired. Upselling was common I hear at the old Manta and others in city.

  10. Been there recently...clean, spacious, friendly management BUT expensive . Paid $110+ tips (first time there so I bought membership). Massage ok but not very active. Prob will not return altho if I do , I will try to see the rcommended Alex
