  1. Saw him about six months ago. Experience was just as advertised. Solid massage (B+/A-) but fairly mechanical HE/MT. I’d repeat for the massage but he’s out in LIC so not as easy to get to as a variety of Manhattan-based masseurs. Very competitive rates though.

  2. Somewhat related experience a few weeks ago - I saw one of my favorites that I hadn’t seen in about a year due to various scheduling issues on both of our ends. I was used to paying a certain amount for a 60 minute session with him, but after the massage he said his price was $100 more than what I previously paid. I mentioned that he hadn’t said anything about that when we booked and that it’s not reflected on his ad (it used to list his rate but now says “ask me”). It was a good massage so I paid the inflated rate but no tip and I’ve got no plans to see him again in the future

Agree. Plus uncomfortable, awkward, and crude mid-session upselling by Daniel

Yep. My first massage with him when he first started was great. The second one a few months later left a bad taste in my mouth with how heavily he tried to upsell halfway through (before I’d even flipped over). Haven’t been back to either 27 or HK since

Any chance this very muscular, now mid-30s Asian masseur advertise on rentmasseur? Would love to know if he moved to my area.

I never saw him on there since I wasn’t on those sites before he moved away, so I couldn’t say for certain if he’s ever been on them

He seems to move around a lot. Does he ever get to NYC? (What the hell is he doing in Indianapolis....?) (No offense to Indianapolians.)

He used to live in NYC and will visit occasionally. I saw him once before he moved away and once a few months ago when he was back in town for a bit. The first time was great and made me want to book a second session before I left the table, but scheduling-wise it didn’t work out. The second time, a few months ago, was even better. Definitely one I’m eagerly awaiting to return to NYC

Can anyone recommend a masseur at Energy Spa on 23rd?

Honest recommendation: save your time and money and go somewhere else. Energy is run down and the masseurs I’ve experienced over the years range from “so-so” to “barely-there” in terms of massage quality
