  1. Thanks ! I will try it that way next time.
  2. Regular rate. As a former business owner who offered exceptional service to my customer (as did my staff), I don't usually* tip escorts / masseurs since they are not working for anyone else and set their own rates - already knowing 'their own worth' and pricing their services accordingly. Same with hair salon owners who cut my hair, pet groomers who groom my dog, the deli owner who takes my order, makes my sandwich and rings me out, etc. If they own their own business and servicing me, I don't tip - I go by the old rule 'It's insulting to tip owners, as you're suggesting they don't know how to run their own business'. *In cases when the provider truly went above and beyond what was agreed upon, I have tipped them. This guy didn't.
  3. I finally did meet up with him yesterday - at the salon. For what it's worth, he's in a private room way in the back (the room was originally built for massage therapy) and he rents it out as it was available to rent (the past masseuse left). It is private, locked but rather small - but it works. I booked 90 minutes / $160. He looks much older than his pics suggest (I'm guessing mid-40s) and a little out of shape. But that's ok with me as long as he provides what he offers. Overall, he does more therapeutic than erotic, even though I asked for erotic. If you're looking for 'therapeutic' - he's your guy. If you're looking for 'erotic' -meh. Nothing erotic in the first 75 minutes, and he remained clothed until the last 15 when he provided a HE and I had to ask him to take off his shorts (he does offer mutual touch, but why bother if you're wearing gym shorts?). I've had much better erotic massages from traveling providers (where they are fully nude from start to finish, and tease your ass and balls while you're laying on your stomach to arouse you before flipping over). Nothing like that with him. Again, his therapeutic was top-notch and I believe he prefers to stiick to that (though he said he's gay). Would I repeat ? Possibly a few months from now - maybe with a repeat client he will be more comfortable. Until then, the search is still on in my area...
  4. I've had my eye on this one provider in my area since earlier this year. Today I noticed new photos from the summer, which really 'grabbed my attention' so I decided I'd contact him for a possible appointment this weekend. (His reviews - found on 'HideMe' proxy - were very good). His RM ad offers different things he's into, wants to fulfill your fantasies, and in big letters he tells potential clients : ' ASK MY RATES OVER TEXTING OR MESSAGING - I ANSWER MUCH FASTER F YOU TEXT ME'. Hmmm - sounds good to me! Except in his 'contact' info, there is no cell phone number to text him. WTH? Do these guys even read / check their own ads before submitting them ? Another option is to 'chat' with him on RM, but I never have luck doing that with guys - they take way too long to respond, if they ever do (worse than cell phone texting). This is the third or fourth time I've run into this problem over the past few months. Anyone else have this problem with providers ?
  5. I guess writing and releasing a nearly 1,000 page memoir last year (that failed to live up to sales expectations, to say the least) wasn't enough 'sharing' for the once 'very private' Barbra Streisand. Streisand made a surprise announcement this past week, telling fans she is working on a 'multi-part documentary' covering her life and career of the past 60+ years. The 82 year old EGOT winner says she has so much stuff 'vaulted', she thought it was the right time to pull everything out and share it with her fans. She's hired some highly notable producers to help put it together, as well. She doesn't say when this will be released or where, but I'm certain she will be angling for another - and final - Oscar. Stay tuned !
  6. I agree with this 100% - and this is what's ruining so many TV shows these days. Marshall and Lewis are horribly miscast in this show. This is the best who auditioned for the roles? However, I liked the premiere episode very much. Nice twist at the end that has me hooked. For those expecting a 'Matlock' reboot of the 80s show, you will be very disappointed and pleasantly surprised.
  7. I truly enjoyed it. He leaves it open at the end for the viewer to decide whether they were telling the truth or not. Episode 5 should guarantee Cooper Koch and Emmy nomination, if not the Emmy itself. A 30+ minute episode all done in one take, with the camera never leaving Koch. Incredible.
  8. I have noticed this mostly with the up and coming generation ("Zoomers") not only in this profession, but in everyday life. Sad to say, the tech generation really has trouble communicating in every situation in life (believe me, I've worked with them for the past dozen years or so, and it's getting worse - not better).
  9. Another gorgeous guy travelling through my area later this week. (Maybe he's travelling wit Subbttmotter ?). Any info on this hot stud ? 10. Very sexy guy who will be in my area soon. Surprised there hasn't been any reviews on him (from what the search results showed - 0 ). Any info / experiences someone can share ? 11. I got dizzy after reading this.
  12. Starring Carrie Coons (who can do no wrong in anything she stars in), Natasha Lyone (ditto), and Elizabeth Olson on Netflix, which picked this up after the Toronto Film Festival this summer. Premiered on the streamer this weekend, and its already getting 'Oscar buzz'. Coons is also getting Oscar buzz. An emotional roller coaster of a movie, that takes place in a Brooklyn apartment over a three day period. Definitely worth watching !
  13. This new Ryan Murphy series deserves its own thread! Premiered on Netflix September 19, starring the delicious actors Cooper Koch and Nicholas Chavez as the Menendez brothers who killed their parents in August, 1989. Javier Bardem plays their father, Jose. It's a Ryan Murphy series, so there is plenty of dick scenes (thanks to Cooper Koch) , gay scenes, and blood and gore - which has caused quite the conversations on social media. After all, we don't tune in to a Murphy series for 'wholesome family entertainment', do we ? I watched the first two episodes (I don't want to binge watch - I want to spread this out to enjoy) and really enjoying it. Both Koch and Chavez are incredible actors in this (even with their clothes on) and honestly should pick up a few awards next year. I'm hooked !
  14. I usually do wait three hours, minimum. I understand they may have an hour appointment or even a two hour appointment (which, according to many reviews on various providers, seems to be more common these days). As it turned out, the original provider did finally get back to me in 2.5 hours to let me know he was booked solid all weekend (and was heading home on Monday morning). He apologized for the late response (keep in mind, I originally contacted him 24 hours earlier - this was my 'reminder' text to let him know I was interested in an appointment). I then asked if his partner had any availability for a solo appointment, and apologized in my text to him if this was inappropriate to ask him. He responded that his partner was also booked solid, and no - it was most definitely not 'inappropriate' to ask. As he said, 'After all - we are both very good at what we do and want to provide services to all who are interested. We'd rather you book with us, then go somewhere else - so don't feel hesitant to ask either one of us about each other's availability. I'm certain other professional duos feel the same way'. I thought that was very kind and professional of him.
  15. Since you brought this up, I must say not only was his English horrific.
  16. He finally did reach out to me and apologized for the delay - said he was extremely busy and completely booked up during his visit here. I did ask about Liam's availability - and apologized if it was inappropriate to ask him - he was fine with the question and said he was booked as well. He did put me on a cancellation list for the next few days should anyone drop out.
  17. The big economic news this week is that 'the Feds Cut Rates' - by half a percentage point (which everyone says it's good) - for the first time in four years. We're being told this should 'ease the cost of borrowing' for consumers - from mortgages to auto loans to credit card purchases. Of consumer borrowing, the only one which effects me (and maybe all of us) is credit card borrowing. I've always found once my financial institution which issues the credit card raises the interest rates on consumers - and consumers continue to use the card with the higher rate - the financial institution does not lower the rate...ever. It doesn't matter that the feds cut the rates for them - the consumer still seems to pay the highest rate. Or am I wrong ? How exactly does this work, and what should I be looking for in the months ahead on my statements ? (Please note I do not carry a lot of credit card debt, but what I do have I don't want to be paying a high rate).
  18. This weekend there is a masseur and his partner (AnthonyHung and Liam) traveling in my area. Each has a separate ad, but each ad (and reviews) mention the '4 handed experience'. I'm not interested in a 4 handed massage - had a couple of them, and it just didn't do it for me (never felt relaxed). So I reached out to Anthony (more my type) for a solo massage. Contacted him twice - no response. I'm curious if I should now reach out to his partner Liam (my second choice). He's not as attractive to me as Anthony, but I wouldn't mind spending an hour with him having him give me an erotic massage with mutual touch. How long should I wait for a response / no response from the first choice (Anthony) before I reach out to the second (Liam) ? If I do, should I (or do I need to) mention I already reached out to Anthony ? Realistically, there's a good chance they are only booking 4 handed today, and neither responds to me.
  19. He's in my area now, staying at an AirBnB not too far from me (adjacent neighborhood). I reached out to him yesterday letting him know I'm interested in a 2 handed massage with him (not interested in 4 hands) and asked the price and what the erotic massage entails. Never heard back from him. I just texted him again, letting him know I'm still interested if he has time today - we shall see if he gets back to me. (I have a feeling he may be holding out for four-handed massages so he and his partner can make money together).
  20. And this is called 'double dipping' which is illegal. These businesses are writing off their cc fees at the end of the year when they do their taxes (taking a deduction on the net sales) yet they are also recovering those fees from the surcharges on the purchases (and not including them on their net sales). TOTALLY ILLEGAL. Why aren't the feds paying attention to this ?
  21. I thought I heard/read that most vendors at sports stadiums in NY and other states no longer accept cash. I wonder if they're exempt ?
  22. He's in RI again. Glad I read these responses since last time I inquired (14 months ago). I'll pass.
  23. A short while ago, I read an article in USA TODAY about how we are fast approaching a 'cashless' society. TARGET stopped taking checks for a form of payment on July 15 of this year, and they say the customers who complained the most were Boomers and GenXers. Many stores went 'cashless' during the pandemic, when they believed cutting back on the exchange of paper money and coins would somehow protect customers and employees from spreading germs (though the handling of merchandise between employees and customers seemed perfectly fine). They favored method of payment among the younger generations (Millennials and Zoomers) are Credit Cards, Debit Cards, and electronic pay phone apps (such as Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, etc.). This morning on NPR, they discussed this in their 'marketwatch' report. They agreed the younger generation - especially the Zoomers - have moved away from cash, and pay with credit cards (not even debit cards) and phone apps (quite often linked to a cc). A few of the 'commentators' suggested the rise in credit card usage by Zoomers is why that generation has 'the highest amount of low credit scores, as well has highest amount of credit card defaults (missing / late on at least two payments). According to the NPR report, more than 25% of Zoomers aged 18-30 are in default of their credit card payments. Millennials were slightly lower (but not by much) while Boomers and Xers were more in the 10% and below range when it came to credit card defaults. It's an interesting snapshot of the economy, and how we go about paying for items. Thoughts ?
  24. You were right. It's been 90 days, and sure enough - my credit score has rebounded almost to the point it was before on CreditKarma. I say 'almost' because I did lease a new car in August (and returned the one I had because the lease expired), and that slightly hit my credit score (the lease amount is just under $30K).
  25. Coming to my area soon. Any experiences to share ? TheMissingLynx on RentMasseur RENTMASSEUR.COM View my profile on RentMasseur.com
