I found this information via Dr Carlton on Instagram who has been a valuable resource for the gay community providing up to date info on monkeypox as it becomes available... This document is a non-comprehensive, crowdsourced list of where Monkeypox vaccinations are being provided in various U.S. cities while resources continue to be scarce. Much of this information is based on available information online or word-of-mouth. https://stopmonkeypox.org/

Per Dr Carlton on IG, Numerous cases of Monkey Pox in Adults vaccinated as a child for smallpox, but generally milder. https://www.instagram.com/p/Cg0WUuxJW-y/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=

I know two people that went to one OF THE Vaccine POD sites and they were not asked for proof of preP prescription or recent std diagnosis

I think it's worthwhile to note that even in the Great White North. Supplies of the Monkeypox vaccine are limited and in order to make supplies stretch they are currently limiting doses to one in order to get some antibodies building in the at risk populations. Furthermore outside the large cities, obtaining the vaccine is proving problematic and unavailable in many less populated provinces and smaller towns. Seems to me that a one size fits all approach, even in Canada 🍁 is not always easy when faced with the same limited supplies that the USA has to deal with. https://www.cbc.ca/news/health/monkeypox-vaccine-supply-1.6528008#amp_tf=From %1%24s&aoh=16593120861999&referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com&share=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.cbc.ca%2Fnews%2Fhealth%2Fmonkeypox-vaccine-supply-1.6528008

"Typically, Imvamune is a two-dose shot, given 28 days apart, with the option for a booster two years later. But in guidance for health-care professionals released in mid-June, Ontario said it would be using a "ring vaccination approach" and offering just a single dose in areas with confirmed cases — given the "current limited supply" of vaccines." https://www.cbc.ca/news/health/monkeypox-vaccine-supply-1.6528008#amp_tf=From %1%24s&aoh=16593113160820&referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com&share=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.cbc.ca%2Fnews%2Fhealth%2Fmonkeypox-vaccine-supply-1.6528008

If the Federal government had given equal doses per capita to every state, no doubt the roll out would still seem frustrating 😤 There were limited doses available and quite honestly I don't understand where the problem or the frustration comes in pumping the brakes on our hedonistic pursuits for a bit until such time that vaccine deployment hits critical mass. After all we all have practice in the past two years, unless everything went underground then we're talking about plain and simple hypocrisy.

For a straight answer... Google is pretty handy. Not sure why you expect experts on here to spoonfeed you the information when reliance on one's own due dilligence is the best route

Thank you for a fact based and logical response. The histrionics previous are tiring AF

Here's an informative article shedding light on why the roll out of the Jynneos vaccine has been so terribly slow. Stockpiles were virtually non existent for starters... https://time.com/6198298/monkeypox-vaccine-shortage/ In all honesty seems like a great time to be patient and practice some restraint if you're a highly active man, keeping your encounters to a limited pod you feel comfortable and safe with until more vaccine gets rolled out and distributed. Seems like a small price to pay for some piece of mind

Houston received an initial shipment of 5000 doses. A tiny amount compared to what other cities are receiving. It was just announced today that an additional 16,000 doses are on the way https://www.houstonpublicmedia.org/articles/news/health-science/2022/07/29/429377/houston-region-to-receive-more-monkeypox-vaccine-doses-as-case-numbers-climb/

LA County Public Health has several POD (Point of Dispensing) clinics where you can walk in without an appointment. Only prerequisite is that you should be on PreP. But they do request ID, so I assume they also look for residency?

Among the friends I shared the article with, the same response.... Favorite for sure 😂😂

Same happened to me last week at the Gay Lesbian Center in Hollywood. Routine STD check. I mentioned to my counselor that I had secured a date in August for Jynneos at a County health facility. He mentioned, well we have it here if you want to get it. After my testing, I was in and out of that Vax clinic in 25 minutes. Organized, easy and a date in August for my second. Zero side effects

Yet apparently you still enjoy partaking in the services of liars, or at least trolling them on this forum. Says just as much about you, as it does about the lying providers

I was lucky enough to get the vaccine on Thursday July 21 at the Gay Lesbian Center in Hollywood where i happened to be for my regular STD testing. Surprisingly they were able to get me in and within 25 minutes I was vaxxed and out of there with a date for my second Vax in a month.
