I have wondered if this isn’t laziness but a ruse to make clients think they are locals. Some clients prefer locals because: 1) they are worried a traveling provider will pack so many appointments into the trip that their performance will suffer: 2) they believe that traveling providers are more likely to short time or otherwise provide unsatisfactory service because they are leaving town soon; and 3) if you like a local provider future appointments are more easily available.

Are 20-year-old pictures a record or have people seen older ones? At that point you might as well use someone else’s. ,
