The housekeeper for my mother (99 years of age) cleans twice a month. When I spoke to my mother a few weeks ago, I advised her to require the woman to wear a mask. In terms of pay, of course, she's earning her usual fee.

Of the current 18 buddies that I have listed, I've previously seen five of them. The others are possibilities once some semblance of normalcy comes back to the world. This week marks the ninth week of my "staying inside" for almost the entire 24 hours. As a retiree, I think I'm adapting reasonably well. But, my being inside most of the day has given me more time to reflect on the future, which to me is one hell of a scary thing since this pandemic has affected everyone and every facet of life worldwide. I'm missing honoring my mother on the 25th of May on her 100th Birthday, the NBA semi-finals and finals, going to movies and live theater, concerts, driving down Coast HWay 1 in California to Big Sur whenever, attending art and book festivals, domestic and international travel, sex, sex, and more sex, and a plethora of normalcy in general. There are other things that I have begun to yearn, but they, too, are on hold temporarily or perhaps permanently. Bah!

I really like what I see here! ...am ready to meet once the worldwide pandemic has ended or has been lessened quite a bit.

Yesterday while I drove on the freeway from my townhouse to the adjacent towns of some 5 - 12 miles away, (There are four of them, all beautiful coastal lands.) I'd wish that there had been highway patrol stationed strategically throughout this stretch and then some.)

05/02/20 ...went to Trader Joe's this morning. ...no line and plenty of space in which to shop. ...had all of the items that was on my list as well. But I've noticed a price increase in some of my usual items. ...suggested to management to mark one -way aisles and make larger signs in reference to where we should stand while checking out. They currently have signs which are too small to read from a distance. ALL in ALL, I had a quick and easy shopping experience while in- store wearing a mask.

...heard on NBC's 8:00 AM hour this morning and thought better he than I. I would NOT have the energy to begin rearing any child from birth or after. age 40+... ...good for him since it was his desire. From a distance, I wish him all success in this important endeavor.

I'm with you. Unfortunately, far too many guys in San Francisco who are on my "Buddylist" at Rentmen are still apparently out there.
