I'm waiting for the Airlines to stop flying and perhaps they will offer a refund instead of credit for future flight. I still have time to see if air traffic is temporarily curtailed.

I emailed the Manager and was offered credit for a future stay in the form of "free days" depending on the season. I'm satisfied with their offer. I also let them know that I have been a past guest of their establishment. Just be nice, factual and polite. They are trying there best to be fair without refunding cash. I certainly understand the difficulty they must be facing as well.

I've hired Tommy on a number of occasions when I visit NYC. I've always enjoyed my time. He is a nice guy. Easy to book via a quick efficient phone call. Just tell him what you are looking for and I'm sure he can deliver.

The Saquaro Palm Springs announced revised cancellation policies for reservations through April 30. https://thesaguaro.com/palm-springs/covid-19/ I'm hoping other hotels follow their lead. I'm taking a wait and see approach and reassess based on current facts.

I’m still planning on attending as well but monitoring the situation. I’d take a road trip if it was feasible but for me it’s a 20-hour drive for a long weekend. So, it’s flying or not going. Currently my flight (on a CRJ 700) is at 23% of capacity so there seems to be plenty of space. Since Coachella is cancelled my flight most likely won’t be packed to industry standards. However, you can’t control crazy people like that JetBlue passenger diagnosed with coronavirus flew ‘knowing’ he could have the virus. The passenger flew from JFK to Palm Beach, FL despite “knowing that he was awaiting results for a coronavirus test” and he didn’t disclose this to any airline official until reaching the destination. Here’s hoping for better news in the next few weeks.

Yes, it is a nice place. The area is fine. It was built a few years ago. The building leases out to permanent apartment tenants and apparently also rents short term stays via Stay Alfred. It's close to the central business district and midtown. February in Houston is generally quite nice - mid 60's low 70's. Based on its location, the short term folks are either here for St Joseph Med Center (a block away) or business travelings wanting an apartment instead of a hotel.

I've not stayed at Stay Alfred, but I drive by frequently to/from work. All of the Stay Alfreds are around the St Joseph Medicial Center south of the central business district. Not many restaurants close by. Restaurants are located about a mile away closer to Discovery Green Park or Midtown (Bagby & W Gray). Also, Greyhound Bus Station is at W Gray & Main. I'd stay away from that area. If you have a car, it will be fine. If you are walking, north towards the central business district (anywhere from Toyota Center to Minute Maid Park) you will find restaurants and bars. You may find Houston's homeless population under the bridges along Pierce Street. All of the Stay Alfreds are fairly new and look like corporate apartements.

I have several fond memories with Mr Justice. I wish him well and hope he finds happiness and joy.
