In my adventures with this hobby, I view hiring a gay provider as a version of “buying local”. I prefer to support those providers. If I see a gent has listed himself as “straight”, (sometimes “bisexual”), I tend to move on, as in my experience, such identification usually means a far more limited repertoire of activities.
 
Having said that, there are a number of providers that do list themselves as “straight” or “bisexual”, yet whether by accident or design, they leave enough of a trail that it is easy to find their social media, and see they are in fact gay.
 
I’ve been with a handful of such, some have straight up admitted it’s a branding thing, and they’re really gay; others swear they are bisexual, yet have never been with or in a relationship with a woman - but are “open to it”.
 
I find there are enough variables to weigh, and consider in this hobby already. Throwing sexual identification, (whether genuine or branding), into the mix can make things over complicated. Same with when they indicate “depends on person” or “ask me” in their RM profiles, or have “discounts for fit and good looking” on friendboy. Too complicated.
 
This is why I tend to stick with engaging our gay providers - at the very least, you know the gent is genuinely into/attracted to other gents.

"Straight" is a deal breaker for me. Though, there are some guys who provide a great experience who identify as "biexual" (Serman Mous
, for instance. That's why this site is so valuable.

I know of one who has a girlfriend and it looks like she is aware he is a gay scort. I was so disappointed at this that I ended up cancelling my date with him. I really thought the dude was gay or at least bi. What a turn-off.

Lots of providers have an enormous ego that causes them to think their time is more valuable than the time of the person who will be paying them.   
Clients are often regarded as "time wasters" because clients want to be sure the merchandise (providers) they are about to "rent" is accurate and really what they want.  

I tried to meet up with him back in April and he is so unresponsive and I got the impression he was difficult. I gave up and based on the review I saw on the best flex I am not the only one.

So please everyone stop the hate and binary paranoia that if a guy self-identifies as straight or bi that’s a red flag. There is a wide spectrum between 100% gay and 100% straight. It’s actually more important to make clear what things the escort can and cannot do to YOU. YOU are paying! At least this guy says upfront he won’t touch you nor please you, but again, not my thing. Even if he’s straight, a professional will do his job instead of being self-absorbed and rip you off.

I met him several years ago and wouldn't repeat.  Told me to meet him at his hotel.  When I arrived he was waiting in his car and said someone had just stolen his credit card so would need to pay for the hotel room.  Red flags I know, but I agreed to pay for the hotel since I had driven quite some distance to meet him.  It looked like he was living out of his car because it was packed and had his dogs in it.  Once in the hotel, I was out of there within 10 minutes.  He wasn't prepared for the session shall we say.  All told, I would definitely not repeat and I left feeling sorry for him.

Oh he is a rude little bastard. For a while he was up north in Ohio for about 6 weeks while his mother was recuperating. I made an appointment. He wanted $300. On the day our session was to take place he messaged me asking if I could get a hotel room that he could not host after all because his girlfriend was still in bed hungover and not waking up. I've met him socially at several of the Saturday evening dinners during the Palm Springs Weekend and that includes this year (2022).  He looks great and in person he is definitely not a snob or arrogant.  He actually comes across as rather shy.
