I totally agree. TC has shown the world that he has an IQ that hovers around room temperature.

And that's a shame. Years ago, when Top Gun came out, I thought he was the sexiest man alive. His Roman nose in profile was a heart stopper and that scene where he is in the can bending over a sink wearing only his tighty whities did me in totally.

I doubt he will ever recover his former popularity. Perhaps if he married Brad Pitt........

Zip...I'm thinking that's about all that is left for Him, But only if The Thing with Angelina doesn't work out! LOL

I still say the "Nail in his Coffin" would be the Real Reason he and First Wife called it Quits, REAL FAST, right after the Wedding? Alot feel Mimi was Paid, to stay quiet? LalaLand you gotta LUV IT! lol

Believe me, the only way someone in this town keeps their mouth shut is if there is a previous arrangement to do so. Which, by the way, is SOP these days. (That's why there was no real dirt on Brad & Jennifer, Jay Lo & Ben, etc) I have no doubt that Mimi had a binding arrangement, especially since my spies tell me Nicole Kidman was paid a million dollars to marry Tom (I actually saw a scanned copy of the alleged check) and that part of her arrangement (allegedly negotiated with the help of the Church of Scientology) is that she would be guaranteed a picture a year for the life of their "union". Obviously, she ended up doing much better than that, but this would have been a very attractive deal for a young, up & comer as she was back when this deal would have been struck. So why the divorce after almost 10 years of success? Well, I was also told that, supposedly, a prenuptial becomes null & void after 10 years, so it was almost a legal necessity.

I don't know whether any of this is actually true but, more importantly and with the exception of Collateral which I think was his best picture ever, Tom just isn't interesting anymore. He comes off as a major phony no matter how hard he tries. To me, the blush is way off that bloom.

I remember reading a gossip column right before the Cruise/Kidman breakup speculating that the original agreement was to last "not more than 10 years" and predicting a separation announcement was imminent.

All right, you legal eagles out there. Is it true that prenuptuals become null and void after 10 years? That sure wouldn't seem like good public policy to me..

I'm not a lawyer but... I would think that a prenup does NOT have a life span of only ten years unless the actual agreement specifies that.

The author who wrote the bio of Princess Di that came out two years ago is now at work on a bio of Cruise. Cruise's lawyers are already hovering. Let's hope the book comes up with some concrete evidence that TC loves cock.

A straight actor friend of mine worked with Cruise on a film. My friend -- and anyone else who works with TC -- had to sign a non-disclosure agreement that stipulated he reveal nothing damanaging to the star's rep. Non-disclosure agreements are standard requirements for working with the superstars. Nevertheless, my actor friend specualates that TC is sexually.......well, you know....like Ben Affleck.....and......

....You can fill in the rest to your great satisfaction. As the ads say, "Money is for time only." But you know you're not going to sit and look at your watches.

A recent article in the Wall St. Journal detailed the ways celebrities cooperate with paparazzi to get the right kind of coverage. TC, the article said, well aware that paparazzi hang out at a certain spot in Beverly Hills, put Katie on his motorcycle and started riding past the boys with the cameras.

"Did you get that, guys? Need another take?"

After just seeing the "Batman Begins" with a REAL HUNK C. Bale..

Katie should have stayed on the Small Screen. Definitely her looks are Not made for a Big Screen! As the "Latest Mrs Cruise", I'M sure in time she to will pass on, into Mrs. Cruise Public Relations... History!

Maybe Tom will come out like R. Chamberlain when he's 72 and then what's to lose? ZERO! :7

The author (and I use that term loosly) that I would like to see write a TC bio, is non other than Kitty Kelly. Wow would that ever be worth the $40 bucks!

I understand why SUPERSTARS would want this kind of agreement, but why would TC think he should have one?

Now here's a thought........ as it is about 30 years or so since this film was made, isn't it about time for a re-make of "Boys In The Band"?

Cast members could include TC, Ben A., Matt D, and for the role of cowboy... now let's see, how about John Revolta (well it is a comedy, isn't it) and the Church of Scientology would be well served too.

We could probably find a part for the Will & Grace duo (not Grace silly, Jack) even though Eric McCormick would have you believe he doesn't play both sides of the street

Zip. I haven't thought about this Movie in a long time!

Unfortunately it really is in many ways very Jaded NOW..

Relating to it would definitely be for those Nostalgic Souls still around. The Guy with the Thing for Sweater's, is still walking the Isles of Bloomie's in the Men's Dept.1st Flr! LOL

The Original Cowboy was a Hunk!

His type could be found at the "Gaiety", which was at it's Zenith in popularity at that time, on every weekend.

I did read somewhere, that the Actor who did the Cowboy Part, in the Movie did die tragically, at a young age?

Maybe Brad, who is "supposedly" looking for something Gay to Play, would fit the Part Very Well? LOL:7

The hustler was played by Robert LaTourneau. He never did much after that, except some nude layouts for Honcho or Blueboy or one of those. I used to see him at the Eagles Nest when he and the place were in their prime.

I also saw him at the World Premiere of "The Last Picture Show" accompanying......are you ready for this?.....Jack Nicholson. An attractive young woman was part of the mix.

La Tourneau died several years ago of AIDS. He had a final burst of notoriety when his landlord tried to evict him as he faced his last days.

>Wrong John. How about Stamos? }(

That would work - I had not thought of him til you mentioned his name. He was in Vancouver a couple of years back (with the Missus) and according to the local working boys, he kept several of them very busy.

Perhaps we could find a cameo for that tall lanky sidekick of his, old whats-is-name, Bob Saget. Not a stunner, but there was always something about him that made me think he would be a good bottom.

What amazes me is WHY, anyone other than Tom and his friends/family/wives/lovers should be concerned and feel free to supposition about what Tom Cruise does/doesn't do in his private life?!

And when they post those suppositions in a public medium such as the newspapers, magazines and internet sites, I think it is great that Tom sues/always wins.

Yeah, all you people here who are criticizing and demeaning Tom Cruise, aren't the least bit jealous are you? You're not? Then why do you all sound like a flock of old, turkey hens, clucking about what the Tom is doing? :7

I'm not jealous of anyone who has to hide his nature and assume hypocritical poses -- often going to great lengths and great expense, personal and financial, to do so. I say anyone. I don't know if that sort of behavior and attitude pertains to Miss Cruise or not. But no, I wouldn't want his life and its pressures for anything. I got laid this weekend and loved every minute of it and will happily and openly share what happened with anyone who's interested. I don't have to wear a mask when I hire someone to screw with, or even when I screw for free. I screw free.

Criticize and Demeaning?..He's done it to himself! He needs NO Help in looking like a "Hollywood Hyped Schmuck" for many year's!

It's just every once in awhile someone point's it out that's all.

Actually it is a little surprising ANYONE is even still at all interested. BUT it is nice to see some "Crash & Burn", WHO think Their Bank Account will make their Huge Ego's Untouchable!

This does not just go for Movie Star's either! Arnold's name is to hard to spell, for me to comment on him! LOL

p.s. I promise this is my last comment on T.C. :7
