That is clearly NOT Jake G. in that shot of them jumping. He must've opted for a body double.

There are so many Brokeback Mountain pics out there that I would post them if I wasn't so tired of seeing them. x(

 

Maybe one day when I'm in a good mood I'll post some of the ones that I've found.

The article (in Bulgarian) explains that Brokeback Mountain was one of the favorite movies on the festival in Venice in late August 2005. It doesn't say anything about the collage with Colin Farrell and Josh Hartnett.

I remember seeing that pic at the towleroad site, http://towleroad.typepad.com/towleroad/ , Andy Towle's blog, who's been OBSESSED with Brokeback Mountain for years.

 

Apparently Farrell, and maybe Hartnett, had been originally attached to the project, maybe back when Joel Schumacher was to be the director.

The Colin Farrell portion of the picture is from Tigerland.

I'm thinking that, considering what they were doing, it was more likely a STUNT double than a BODY double.

This isn't from "Brokeback," but something earlier that Heath did. I saw it a few months ago and it identified the other guy (another Aussie, IIRC.)
