My family moved just as my Junior year in high school began. There was girl in home room who was thought of as a lesbian. I heard her name, and thought about classmates where I lived before. I wrote my grade school teachers on a piece of paper, and gave the paper to her.

 

Yes, she agreed, but never talked to me again.
