I don't care for it at all. I had one guy from Houston text me all the time. Like once a month. I told him I have no plans to be back in Houston anytime soon and if I did I would reach out.

He still continued to text me. Often time with picks that while nice I didn't need popping up at work.

I finally just had to block him because he would not take stop.

Honestly it’s a little annoying. Unless they’re running a special deal. Then I understand.

I have a couple of favorite people that visit NYC and I appreciate when they give me a heads-up that they are visiting. They both send similar texts saying, "Hey, I will be in NYC in 2 weeks. Let me know if you want to get get together."

Nobody has access to my cell but even if they did, the way they text, works for me.
