In the recent episode "Send In The Clowns" it was nice to see Finn's son and his husband and their son.

 

Finn's gay son has been in several episodes. Last I remember the son's husband - then boyfriend - was the victim of a hate crime. Last scene was him in the hospital unconscious with Finn by his bedside.

In the recent episode a transgender male military officer testified in court. He was not out. When he was leaving the courtroom the soldiers in the courtroom all stood and saluted him. Very nice! He returned their salute.
