Does anyone know about any changes in Masseurfinder? I've pasted in the link to the Dallas page to show:

https://www.masseurfinder.com/massage/dallas/

If you scroll down a bit, some of the masseurs have a question mark in place of their photo -- but when you look in their profile, they have photos as usual. Does the question mark mean they're unverified or what? Inquiring minds want to know. Thanks.

I don't know this for sure but my theory is that mf gave the masseurs an ultimatum to update new photos or photos newer than some date within the last couple years or so or else they get the question mark on the city pages. I say this because you can still see the pics if you click on the ads and at least anecdotally, many of these masseurs' pics are old or have been the same for years.

When will all this insanity stop?? Masseurfinder and MassageM4M charge OUTRAGEOUS fees to advertise. Check their rates....up to $277 per month on MF. Multiply that by the amount of ads on MF....over 2,000 total. They are raking in big bucks. Some masseurs can't do face photos because of discretion, family, co-workers in day jobs seeing them, etc. For these masseurs that need discretion....it is either a faceless photo or no work if MF requires a face shot now. These massage sites keep piling on the rules and regulations, such as MF now requiring clients to have a Facebook account just to post a review. (talk about discretion....what client married to a woman wants his Facebook account linked to a gay massage site?) They should back off and just be happy they are pulling in huge dollars from these masseurs. Oh, how I long for the pre-Rentboy crisis days, when masseurs could post ANYTHING they wanted.....nude pics....talk about happy endings in their ads, give us the X rated version description of their services in their ads so we would know what we were getting ,etc. Now it is all rules and regulations, censored and sanitized. Totally sucks :(

I hear ya Dmitri but I am a bit ambivalent about this.

With scammers and fake info dominating the web, I just think these sites are being more proactive in fighting these predators.

How many of us have fell for an escort/masseur ad based on headless/faceless ads?

I admit I have.

I see a faceless but a nice muscled, sculptured body picture, the poses are mouth-watering and very appealing.

The ad description is enticing.

Price for the hour is acceptable.

Wouldn't you consider making contact?

You setup an appointment with full anticipation.

Suddenly - its time to meet.

And what shows up at the door ............... Urghhhhhh!

And if you dare question his posted ad pictures, what excuses would you hear?

"Yes that is me", 20+ years ago or 100lbs ago.

And the topic of discretion?

If you are married or a straight family man, and you are going into this business - its a risk you are accepting.

If you don't want to show your face, there are multiple other sites out there you can use.

I bet Masseurfinder and MassageM4m had waves of multiple complaints about fakers.

Yes they may be expensive, but I believe they are being business proactive in protecting themselves and protecting valid masseurs/escorts who do show their faces.

They don't want one bad apple destroy the entire business crop.
