Gifting an album from ITunes?

I’ve a US ITunes account. There’s an album I want to give to a friend of mine. Problems are I’m currently in Malaysia and he lives in Germany. I can’t even give him a credit so that he can buy it himself. Can it be done?

Can you give him your Apple ID account info, and have him log onto your itunes account under your name? Or...can you download the album onto a disc and send him the disc? Just thinking out-loud.

1. Open iTunes or iBooks. ...
   
2. Find the item that you want to gift. ...
   
3. Click the arrow to the right of the item's price .
   
4. From the menu, choose Gift This [item type].
   
5. Enter your recipient's email address.
   
6. If you want, add a message.
   
7. By default, the gift is sent immediately after you buy it.

LOL...Of course instead of doing it my way and mailing a disc halfway around the world, I suppose you could just do it Larstrup's way.
