I remember the poster, the 1 season on CHARLIE'S ANGELS, the nude scene with Kirk Douglas* in SATURN 3, and the "Farrah Flip."

What I don't remember is this: http://www.daveamason.com/april/mp3/Farrah_You.mp3

While I personally find that her vocal redefines "scary" for me, I guess I can see some straightdude getting totally hot over it. :O)

*Yes, Kirk was nude, too. :(

So Sad

She was so sad on Dave Letterman...

Then they cancelled her play on Broadway in like days after it started. So sad...

Now look at Caprio... Leo has had it. He should have never tried to play Howard Hughes.

The boy looks like a boy who looks like a b0y and that is great for Titantic where he plays a boy,

but please... learn from Gary Coleman, Leo, you will never be taken seriously as a serious actor.

So sorry. I would love to blow you, but I can't stand to see you act.

As kids, we were not allowed to have up posters of women (or men for that matter) that were in bathing suits or other revealing attire. I put up a poster of Natasha Kinski and my dad told me to take it down cause it was too suggestive

Now when I told my dad I was gay last year, among the questions he asked was "was it anything that I or your mother did?" I should have said "Fuck yes !!!! If you fostered my complaince with heterosexuality by allowing posters of women half nude, maybe you wouldnt be dealing with these sexual ramifications now !!!"

actually I hear that its the moms fault anyway (at least according to Freud) but no need to finger point:-)

I prefer to remember Farrah in her minor role in the sci-fi classic Logan's Run. But truly, she was the "It Girl" of the mid-latter 70's, and I suppose she deserves some credit for that. After all, there are not many people whose smile approaches a perfect rectangle that one can still call attractive!

Farrah's mother and sister have lived in Houston for a number of years and the mother passed away this past summer and Farrah of course came to town for the services. While she was here without fanfare and little makeup Farrah went to the Astrodome and to the Convention Center and volunteered several days with the evacuees from Hurricane Katrina. After a couple of days the local media began chasing her around and she gave one interview but only about the need for more people to assist as volunteers. She sought no publicity nor any personal accolades for her work which was both monetary and personal.

Farrah may be many things to many people but to me she is a kind of heroine for the work she did for the "undesirables" at a time of personal tragedy. I salute her.

As an added note the Dallas Morning News yesterday named the City of Houston as it's "Texan of the Year". It makes me proud to be a citizen of a city so big-hearted and magnanimous as proved over the last year.

When I was a kid, we weren't allowed posters of any kind. Content didn't matter.

Mom didn't want to ruin the paint and Dad didn't want to re-plaster. :7
