Someone in the Spa forum asked about Nashville. This would be off-topic there. Imo a must-see is the Nashville Parthenon.

Agreed --- Both worth the trip --- It has been 10years but gay crowd was very friendly where ever I went

They are two of the great places in the area. If you are interested in country music, try the Ryman and Country Music Hall of Fame.

 

The Parthenon is great, I hope to make it to Athens to see the original at some point.

Regarding the Nashville Parthenon it is whole unlike the original in Athens plus it has the statue.

The statue of Athena is amazing. Painted and gilded like it would have been in ancient Greece. I still want to see the original. Ancient Greek culture is a fascination of mine.

Regarding the Nashville Parthenon it is whole unlike the original in Athens plus it has the statue.

 

But, it's still just a recreation. A mimic.

 

It's like saying let's go see the Eiffel Tower! ... and then going to Las Vegas
