Ever since I found that I had it about a month ago I have been hooked on the LOGO channel. They show good movies and series (Wonderfalls, First Comes Love, Open Bar) and also highlight gay comedians. I am now watching it almost exclusively. Who else gets the LOGO channel?

I just started getting the LOGO channel on my satellite dish system about two months ago. Initially I was very excited and pleased.

But after a few day became disappointed to find that they were simply replaying the same few programs over and over. The movies I have seen and can find many other places. At first I was keen on the new programming, like the travel program and reality show about the guy opening the bar in West Hollywood. But the travel program seems to be in daily repeat mode. Some of the shows they do feature baffle me. I liked Wonderfalls when it was on Fox last year, but can't see the connection to a gay channel. Is it just because it is offbeat? Is that what qualifies for "gay programming"? Another annoying thing to me is the commercials which are identical nearly every break and are mostly plugs for upcoming shows on LOGO. I know there are 2 or 3 of these channels available currently but I find LOGO to be disappointing. Maybe their offerings will grow as more people subscribe, though I did not subscribe, it simply appeared one day as part of the dish package. I would be curious to hear from others who have other gay channels and what their experience has been.

Snoopy..I could not AGREE More! After checking out "Logo" for about a week, I did notice the same things. They do have mucho Commercials, running constantly.

The Movie I would have enjoyed watching "Testosterone".. They ran 6:30 AM ??? Plus Rumor has it,they cut whatever little Nudity there is!

"Wonderfalls" What Gay demographic is this playing to? Unless there is some buried "Lesbian Content" I am not picking up on? LOL

Also LOGO is going to SA as a Pay Channel! Paying for alot of the same Programming over and over, doubt they will last very long! LOL :+

There are a lot of lesbian themed shows and a lot of repeats but I have also seen a lt of quite interesting movies. As far as the 6:30 AM thing goes, I set my DVR and watch it the next night.

I enjoy watching Noah's Ark - airs on LOGO on Wed. nights, I think, and then reruns at other days/times. It's light and funny and there's always beautiful eye candy to watch.

skrubber. Ah if that was only the situation. BUT I happened to "Surf to Logo" before leaving for the Day. That was at 8:05 am and it was just about OVER! MAYBE I should just get the Blockbuster Version! LOL :+

It was only a matter of time before we got our own version of Lifetime. Cheasy movies and tons of reruns every day of the week.

That pretty much sums up the first few seasons of Fox and the WB, both of which still have their share of b-tier programming and shows the "real" networks won't touch. They both had rough starts and got lucky with a few rogue hits.

New networks take time. Remember, nobody thought Ted Turner could build a network with TBS but it's now a "superstation" on most cable providers.

Give it time, folks. From tiny acorns grow mighty oaks.

Ditto, on Noah's Arc, the acting is a bit too Delsarte method, but oh, the eye candy!

365 Gay.com Now reports Madonna/Esther will be Producing a Gay Sitcom, along the lines of "Melrose Place"? Reality I am sure it won't be! Let's see if any "Stereo Types" Fly on the LOGO Channel.

The "Girl" is sure trying to keep that Career going. When's the Next Children's book due out? :+
