'Friends stopped by..."

Hey Guys,

I'm on Steve's side on this one. My basic policy, at least for first timers is that I will TRY to hold the time open for you if you've contacted me in advance, but please confirm via phone so that I may have a way to get ahold of you. Sad to say, but in my experience, a lot of first timers who try to set something up weeks or even days in advance are no shows.

What's funny is that when I used to advertise in Frontiers, I'd get a lot of guys who'd call in the afternoon, then call later and say they couldn't make it because "friends stopped by." It became a joke with my and my other escort friends because this happened to all of us. We couldn't figure out why these guys couldn't just say to their friends, "sorry, i have other plans." Of course they'd never follow up on their promises to reschedule.

In fact, I am supposed to see first time client this afternoon who after 2 weeks of e-mails, has yet to call me as he said he would. Would anyone blame me if I were to either take book another client or just go off and enjoy my Saturday afternoon with friends???

I fractured eight ribs in Milan in July and was taking heavy doses of percocet for the next six weeks. I did not realize how the percocet was

effecting my whole memeory and personality, to the extent of opten forgetting to look at my daily schedule.

As a result, I missed several scheduled appointments. Like you, I have been using the same people for years. In every case, they simply rescheduled the appointments without charging a cancellation fee.(I was totally mobile from the day I broke the ribs, so getting to the appointments would not have been a problem.)

If your "divas" would do the same, we agree. You seem to be saying that exception were not made for long time customers.

I think it's an issue of common courtesy on both sides. If I make an appointment with an escort, I intend to keep it and I expect he does too. He may turn down other dates in order to respect our appointment. Just like a doctor or dentist.

I usually hire local guys for an hour or two, and I've had to reschedule only one appointment with less than a day's notice. Since I figured the guy couldn't fill the timeslot on such short notice, I apologized and told him I'd pay him for the missed session when we got together next time. He wasn't expecting it, and thanked me for doing it.

When I get together with a guy, I'm looking for things to be easy, sensual and fun. For me, the only way that can happen is for the business part to be handled with minimum fuss and maximum respect on both sides. If it doesn't happen that way, there won't be a repeat.

alanm..Well this seems to be a very "Individual" Problem, every guy I am sure handles it differently! This is the First time "Cancellations" have come up, with this type of "Solution".

BUT bottom line, an Agreement should be an Agreement. Those who AGREE

to this type of Policy, have every right to..But don't tell other people they should, because THEY think a Guy is "Worth It" ?

That makes no sense at all..IMHO Of course..:+

Sorry I was really responding to RockHard and his discussion of his diva hair stylist, diva message therapist, diva this, diva that et al. on the previous page who apparently all charge for missed/cancelled appointments.

Alan..Sorry. But I guess every "Profession", with or without a "Diploma" for the Wall, does have it's share of Diva's. I guess I got mine confused. Carry On...:+
