As many are aware the iOS 11 release had a glitch pertaining to typing the letter i. Here’s my problem. After downloading the two most recent updates I’ve noticed that when I️ send a regular text using my texting application I️ don’t have any problems but when I️ type a message here in the Forum I️ the letter “I “ suddenly becomes an exclamation mark followed by a box as witnessed by the three exclamation marks and three boxes in this sentence. Am I️ the only one having this problem? Is there yet a third update on the way to correct this problem? Ugh!

Fixed in iOS 11.1.1, released Thursday, Nov 9.

Thanks! So odd to me. I downloaded two recent updates and everything was OK or so “eye” thought since my regular texts didn’t have this problem. Only noticed it today when posting in the Forum.

OK....off to update my Apple devices.

This is a test. It is only a test. Should I need any other updates I will download them, however, I think I have solved my problem. I am very happy that I was able to correct the situation. I am going to sign off now as I am sure everyone is sick of me typing the letter I. I wish everyone a great week.
