I did twice. Years ago in Guadalajara, Mexico and also in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco.

There was a brief carriage ride in tonight's episode of "Bull".

Yes, I have - with my father!

We were walking on Michigan Avenue in Chicago and saw a carriage. My dad always wanted to go on a carriage ride with my mother, so he walked over to ask the driver how much a ride would cost. The driver thought I was his boyfriend and said something like "you and your companion..." When my dad laughed and said, no, he's my son the guy kinda winked and my dad said "no, really, my son - we have the same name!" My dad called me over and I confirmed I was his biological son and, being the smartasses we both are, showed him our driver's licenses (I was named after him). The driver was now totally embarrassed and offered us a free ride! My dad and I agreed, but my dad said we had to hold hands and put our arms around each other while we were in the carriage. So we did, all around the Gold Coast.

The only time I had more fun with him was on his 80th birthday when I took him to the Art Institute of Chicago and we visited The Modern Wing. The lobby is a city block long, there was no one around (it was a very cold and rainy day), and my dad was in a wheelchair. We looked at each other and smiled. I got a running start and pushed him across the floor running as fast as I could while he held his hands above his head and shouted "WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" One of the guards started to say something until the other guard, who got us the wheelchair, said "It's the man's 80th birthday. Let him have his fun." The first guard started to chuckle and then all four of us laughed and laughed until we started coughing. The guards allowed us to take the wheelchair out of the museum so my dad could see Cloud Gate up close. When it was time to go, both guards gave him a great big hug and helped him into the car.
