Yes

I suppose having one constant, regular client financially would be more secure than having many. Afterall it is about the money.

I see some escorts offering that. What does that mean? Is the escort looking for a sugar daddy?

Yes, sugar daddy.

Depends... on how much money and how much work is involved.

Good point! Both parts should enjoy while it last, and the younger one should save money for the time the relationship is over.

@Avalon

This is what happens to most sugar daddy-kept boy/man relationships.

Secure, maybe. All eggs in one basket can be risky. It's depend on the opportunity cost the provider would incur. The interpretation of exclusive would matter as well. Do they live with the client? On call, yet still lives in their own residence?

There is a lot to consider.

In most aspects of life, a diversified portfolio is usually wise. :)

It’s ALWAYS all about the money.

I agree that money will be a factor, but I disagree that it is always only about the money. I have met too many strong, independent young man who are choosing to live life on their own terms. They would not easily give up their independence for the yoke of an exclusive arrangement.

It would never work if it was "all about the money".

Most work is about the money - great if you have a job you like and good people to work with - and it's starts out being about the money. It's a job after all.

when i was younger I always thought this would be the easiest way to just be a "kept" boy but turns out this is much harder than just escorting honestly lol. It's never smart to put all your eggs in one basket like people have said above as these kinds of relationships never last long. A better version of this is just doing a good job escorting so that you have gather a list of regulars who see you over and over again. That way you keep your independence yet you gather a following who makes escorting more stable

I'm not so sure I agree...Going by what escorts say at least, there seems to be a general consensus that they truly enjoy what they do. Yes the money is good, but certainly not the driving factor. There are a whole range of factors that drew them to escorting. I've talked to several escorts that actually left the corporate world, left the money, the prestige and went into escorting, because they found something that could not be replicated elsewhere. I would have never worked all the years I did at a job just for the money. I got up every morning, excited about the prospects for day, and over the course of my career, worked often for several years not making any money at all and living off savings, but I stuck with what brought satisfaction.

You aren't disagreeing with what I wrote. It's great when we have work that we enjoy - sounds like you did - and you still describe it as work. It's a job - enjoyable or not enjoyable - it's work. Work/job/employment aren't bad words.

Agree, you got to ask yourself the question: would you do this in your leisure time for no money? If no, then you are doing it for the money, it is a job. You chose this job over other options, true, but don’t tell me it isn’t a job and you would still do if you got the same money without turning up.
