How is it "slut shaming" when I don't mention the name or location of the escort? WTF?

You're blaming him while and wondering if asking a discount should be morally appropriate.

First, wasn't claiming that you were since that was a general statement since more vicious threads have popped up in the past.

BUT

Now that I've put more thought into your original question and statement, lets go down the rabbit hole. Asking if you should get a discount for him giving you a STI is in a way slut shaming. Just the idea alone without mentioning any identifying information is all is needed. I assume you don't ask your co-workers, friends or family for compensation when you get a cold or the flu from them?

Its this type of thought process that has landed many people in jail for inadvertently transmitting HIV to another individual ( which still happens to this day! ).

No!

Exactly!

No Kurtis, I do not ask people for compensation when I get the flu from them. But I am not paying them for a service, either, nor do they hope that I will retain their services in the future. Surely you can see the difference?

I also didn't advocate jail time or public shaming. Your definition of "slut shaming" is ridiculously expansive - how does one shame someone anonymously?

So, to be clear, if you discovered that you gave a repeat client an STD, your attitude would be "them's the breaks, honey." ?

It sounds like it. You're blaming him and wondering if asking a discount should be morally appropriate.

How does one shame without naming the escort LOL? I haven't said where this happened, when it happened, nor have I given any hint as to the ID of the escort or the nature of the STI other than that it was something curable. You really need to look up the word "shaming" in a dictionary.
