Couple discover they've joined 'Amazon Primo'

A Florida couple who ordered plastic storage bins from Amazon got an unwanted bonus — 65 pounds of marijuana mysteriously stashed inside, according to a report.

The couple, who asked not to be identified, hashed out their story to WFTV, saying the 27-gallon bins didn’t feel quite right when they arrived.

“They were extremely heavy, heavier than you would think from ordering four empty bins,” the woman told the station.

When she and her fiancé opened the bins, they were overcome with an overpowering smell.

“When the first officer got here, she was in disbelief,” the customer said about the 93.5-pound haul, which was shipped via UPS from Massachusetts by Amazon’s Warehouse Deals.

“We were still pretty fearful our home would be broken into, and we didn’t sleep there for a few days,” she said.

After exchanging emails with Amazon for more than a month, they finally received a $150 gift card along with the message: “I am unable to do anything else at this time.”

They said they wanted an apology and an explanation about how the marijuana ended up in their bins.

“There was no concern for a customer’s safety. I mean, this could have turned into a worst-case scenario,” she said.

Orlando police said no arrests have been made as the investigation continues.

The commerce and tech giant told WFTV that its customer service team worked directly with the customers and will cooperate with law enforcement to investigate the case.

Need a house? Just click your mouse three times and say “There’s no place like home.”

A building company is now selling actual houses on Amazon that anyone can purchase online–but they are not your average humble abode.

The tiny houses, sold by MODS International, are fashioned out of shipping containers and are each 320 square feet, according to Apartment Therapy. Despite their shortcomings, the homes seem rather luxurious inside.

Each residence comes fully furnished and includes a bedroom, shower, toilet, sink, kitchenette, and living area, according to the Amazon posting. Unfortunately there is no free 2-day shipping deal as the home is not an Amazon Prime item, however the listing goes for a reasonable price of just $36,000.

First your groceries, and now your homes…is there anything Amazon can’t do?
