Anyone finding fakes on Backpage? I was in the Los Angeles one, and I noticed for a really good looking guy.

However reverse searching the pictures, this is a popular fitness instagram model who lives in Palm Springs. His ad doesn't come up in PS backpage.

 

I found a similar one a few weeks ago, with another popular Instagram model now MTV reality show participant.

 

What's going on? Police sting? Scammer? Anyone respond to the ads?

I browse bp when I need a good laugh, so many ads are so over the top, I would feel sorry for anyone trying to seriously use it.

Search these forums. There are many discussions that backpage is heavy with fakes, scams, even some potentially dangerous lures.

Well, that is just not true. I know several escorts who are in back page and are real. It is true it is the less reliable source of hirings, but there are some pearls there. Apparently it is not recommendable in big cities, but in mid and small size towns it is full of opportunities. Unfortunately our friend Adam Smith has migrated to the other site, but he has plenty of very hot stories to share about his Backpage Boyz.
