6th Street is a trainwreck. Drunken tourists and college kids and general hetero riff-raff. We just had our annual "death by Sucker Punch" and the corresponding outrage over the drnken antics that occur there every single weekend.

 

Rule of thumb: Nothing good ever happens on 6th Street after midnight.

I suppose all things are possible, but there are fights there virtually every weekend. I really don't like the vibe there.

 

I'm told that the bars on Rainey Street are the place to be. More low-key, a cooler group of people, and easier to cut one off from the herd.
